I came in for a lab test this morning on a Saturday. I waited. Maybe three minutes. Saw a wonderful technician Mr Sean STITT. I will always ask for him to draw my blood. I don’t even know he did it. He was amazing friendly greeting me with a smile With an amazing experience.

Waited 40 minutes to just check in to urgent care because they still don't have a functional line management and the idea that standing in line for medical care might cause discomfort hasn't fully occurred to the billion dollar company as there wasnt enough chairs for people that needed them and apparently having people suffer is fun. The signage is so poor they have to regularly tell people trying to check in for appointments to go to the correct line because no one thought of making appropriate signage for this. Because again, making people wait is how they make their money. After finally getting to the front of the line I'm told I can't be helped here and go to the ER for a referral that they can't do here. So my waiting in line was entirely pointless. I tried calling to see where to go prior to all this and still have not received the promised call back 2 hours later. Kaiser is and always will be, a bad joke that thrives off of providing awful care so you either don't use what you're paying for or have to keep coming back because of poor treatment.

I've been with Kaiser in La Mesa for many years now. Currently my doctor is Heather Lee. She has helped me with weight loss and other issues and it's been a great experience to be with a doctor who actually listens and cares. I would recommend her to anyone.

Amazing how fast and efficient they were, I'm sure part of that was timing. Get your labs almost Sunday morning! But beyond that everyone was very pleasant, helpful and made the experience painless, except for the needle.

Dr Marisa Chung OD Optometry is excellent, knowledgeable, thorough, explains every finding carefully, and always provides absolutely outstanding service every time. I have been seeing her for 7 years and she diagnosed my normal pressure glaucoma at the first visit. It was missed by prior Optometrist because it’s an uncommon condition that typically affects mostly Asians. This shows Dr Chung has exceptionally broad knowledge including unusual conditions. I have 💯 confidence in Dr Chung.

This location can get pretty impacted and busy and sometimes it can feel like you are just another number. This is not the case when Shannon Fullen checks you in. She gives a personal touch to what, for many of us, can be an uncomfortable experience. Thank you Shannon for always making me feel relaxed and welcomed.

Kaiser scheduled me for a Pap Smear then when I had already came in for my appt and was taken in the back office the lady tells me she doesn't think I'm due for a Pap smear then continues to check her computer and says that my last one was 4 year ago but they won't do one until 5 years which is not medical standard and then after calling the back office where the PA is she continues to tell me that the PA would do it but they are going to charge me. This is horrible.
