I had a positive experience during my recent visit to Kaiser Permanente. The check-in system was smooth and user-friendly, with timely reminders that made the process easy. I also called the call center to ask about flu shots since it’s been difficult to secure appointments. The staff nurse at Dr. Anna’s clinic went the extra mile to find a way for me to get one, and I truly appreciate that effort.

Dr. Anna was warm and approachable, and I could tell she genuinely cares. The pap smear procedure, which can often feel awkward, was quick and painless due to her gentle approach. She also took the time to explain HRT and answered my questions thoroughly.

Since my schedule is always tight, it would be helpful to receive recommendations for additional tests that could be done during my visit. This would make it easier to take care of everything in one appointment whenever possible.

Overall, I appreciate the quality of care and the effort from the staff. Thank you for a positive experience!

I really like the Physical Therapy department.
The instructions are very helpful. Some tips are simple but powerful during severe pain.

For example, how to lift an object on the floor with hinge technique without stressing out lumbar region.

The educational videos are so helpful to understand cause of pain and how to take care of it. They teach awareness to avoid happening the same problem again.

The exercise videos are so helpful. We can do them at home to improve the condition.

Dr Stappaerts and his assistant were welcoming and he examined me thoroughly to get to the route cause of the problems. His explanations are clearly and systematically presented. His follow up was practically instantaneous with couple of options; both I feel very comfortable with. He was direct and very effective in the time spent in analysing and concluding the visit.

He listened to some concerns I was having regarding congestion and breathing problems, explained what might be causing these and referred me for additional testing without any delays. The wait times here are significantly shorter than at Walnut Creek & Dublin (in my experience). My doctor here is kind, attentive, and far more accessible. If you make a lab appointment, your wait time is very short.

The employees are generally patient and welcoming, and my only bad experiences have been: A terribly long wait for a COVID booster (it was Day 1 of availability and I think they underestimated how much demand they’d have), and a very rude lab technician who snapped at me multiple times throughout my session.
