Emergency room wait time is fairly fast. The doctors and nurses are very gentle with children they have an outstanding cafeteria hot food to order and made daily fresh soup. Their labor and delivery is secure and they have beautiful ponds and walk paths to sit and enjoy nature. Also their gift shop has the most adorable baby cloths and other thoughtful gifts

I recently went for an open heart surgery; during my preparation I was pleased that my family spent time with me before going in. I woke up to a wonderful team proud of their job. In the ICU unit the nurse in charge of my night watch CARLO went above and beyond to make me feel WELCOME not with words but with actions [Food, accommodations and whatever help me in my recovery process.
The nurse in process of my transfer made sure I was settle properly in CV PVC, there I met wonderful people that love what they do and have that human touch [Luanda, Hanna, Madie] but I encountered nurses that while might exceed in medical knowledge and protocol, gave me the impression that is only a job and we are a transaction.
My discharge was rushed and lack of coordination; I was rushed from bed 45 minutes before everything was ready, and after signing my discharge forms, we were left on our own. I had to insist to have someone familiar with the hospital take us to our car.

I can see why this hospital was rated one of the top hospitals to give birth. Labor and Delivery was incredible. I loved every single nurse and midwife I interacted with which says a lot about the facility. The Mother/Baby unit wasn't as luxurious but the service was no less astounding. I think the only con is that the hospital food in general is fairly meh but it's affordable!

Surgeons, staff, and everyone who helped set up my very minimally invasive surgery were all so nice and helpful. My recovery went perfect and I felt that I was informed and had all the support I needed. Couldn't recommend getting your tubes cut by these lovely humans more!

My birth plan was to go to Legacy in Salmon Creek. However, when I unexpectedly went into labor early and found out Legacy was on divert, we had no choice but to go to Kaiser Sunnyside.

From the moment we walked into the labor and delivery doors, our experience was 5 star. The receptionist was personable and greeted us with excitement as she put our wrist bands on. Our nurse who took us to triage was fun and made me feel super comfortable and as we transitioned into the delivery room, each nurse was incredibly kind, patient, informative and made every decision as stress free as possible.

Even my post delivery experience was absolutely amazing. The lactation nurses were so informative and patient and not once passed judgement or made me feel bad for not wanting to directly breast feed. The meals were actually really good and the presentation was super nice. The nurses caring for me were sweet and knowledgeable. One nurse even held my baby for 30 minutes while she cried to help teach me how to sooth her.

Kaiser is an absolute dream hospital to deliver at. It’s what they are known for and their reputation speaks for itself. A 5 star Google review doesn’t do it justice but to all the ladies who assisted in my delivery and after care, thank you so much. 💗

My experience was very positive. Caregivers were very supportive and attentive. Since this was sort of an emergency situation I had no plans to spend a week in the hospital. My mental state wasn’t prepared for that and I was depressed and a bit cranky. The caregivers recognized that and were always positive and uplifting . Helped me get out of the doldrums and concentrate on my recovery.

Went here with a family member as they had been in extreme pain and was told by their primary care to go to the hospital. Front desk was fantastic but the doctor who came to talk to us was awful. Never have I met someone with so little empathy, professionalism, and regard for his patients. So much invalidation and did not care to listen to my family member, who even in pain, tried so hard to be patient and kind. If we are able to, in an emergent situation, we will never be coming back to Keizer.

I received the fabulous service at Kaiser Labor Department. All staffs includinng Midwife. Laura Jenson and all registered Nurses had been helping me alot during the labor. The labor room is big and sanitized. I felt really comfortable and well cared by evey single nurses and OB Doctors on that day and a day after when I stayed one day after the labor. I really appreciate for everything!
