My mother is in this facility. She was taken to the hospital due to chocking on her dinner which was hard chicken tenders. You don't feed elderly people hard food. They don't let her sleep at night do to constantly coming into her room to check if she has pee! But yet do not get her up to eat breakfast or check on her to see if she has wet herself. They let her sleep until 11:30 for lunch! Apparently the health care workers do not care about the patients at all in the nursing home. Very sad

My mother Maryann was just released following rehab for a broken arm and foot. The care provided to her was very good. A few special employees who really went above and beyond for her are Robin Fisher, Lorre Kimble, Michelle Herrell, Billie Jo Turner, Alex Simpson, Holly Leith, Amanda Loy, Erin, Kristy, Maria, Shawna, Brittany, Moses. Anyone else we missed I apologize. We are very appreciative for the care and kindness she received. The rehab team and all CNAs and nurses went above and beyond and we are so thankful.

My sister came there when it was Piney Valley. At that time I really liked the nursinghome. She was well cared for and I was happy with her placement. Almost a year ago the quality of care fell dramatically. I was visiting her and took them 45 minutes to change her. Lately she was getting her morning meds between 11am and 12 pm. My sister had to be put in hospice and some of the staff would tell her she will not get her meds and just die. They would tell her she's not ready for hospice and give me a hard time. The doctor who oversees the place told the staff he disagreed with the hospital and felt she was not at end of life. At the hospital she was taken off certain meds and put on fluid meds,because of her heart and lungs and was on record that she should not take these meds. Two days before her death I had been visiting her daily and her breathing had got worse and she was having lots of anxiety. I told her doctors nurse practitioner,who informed me he took away the one fluid pill and past few days had put her back on the med that was making her heart race and that hospital had taken her off of because it was causing her afib and tachycardia. I can not give them a good rating because since she was put in hospice some of the staff neglected her, upset her and the doctor was negligent also who oversees the care of its residents. In my opinion,if they got a new doctor and educated the staff more on patient care then they would deserve a good score like I gave them three years ago.

Overall had a good experience there. Nurses and the CNAs are great. Physical and occupational therapy are wonderful!

Abusive and neglectful. They caused my aunts life. This place needs shut down asap.
