Dr. Khatib is the best doctor I’ve found in this area, he and his staff are very kind and patient. He has been treating me for some nerve issues in my neck and I’ve not been the nicest person, he and his staff have been very caring and understanding. If you are looking for a new doctor in this area, he is the best!

I moved the area in 2020 during Covid and most practices were not accepting new patients. I stumbled upon Dr Khatib and they were able to make me a new patient appointment and I have been with the practice ever since. Dr Khatib practices conservative care and listens to my concerns. He never rushes to make a diagnosis or prescribe a pill and is consistently working with me as a patient to solve many of my very complex medical conditions. Due to several bad experiences with doctors in my past, I am slow to trust providers. Dr Khatib was patient with me and earned my trust. In 2022 I moved to Peach Springs and continue to receive my general medical care through Dr Khatib because I know he always has my best interests as a priority. the office staff is also extremely helpful and efficient and willing to answer all of my questions and assist with referrals.

* If you want a doctor that controls all your prescriptions, (regardless of their necessity or length of years being taken) to 90 days only with NO refills, by all means, please select Dr. Khatib.
* If you want your automatic refill process with your pharmacy, of any of your medications to NO longer effectively work, because there is no such thing anymore, by all means, please select Dr. Khatib.
* If you want a doctor that controls your entire conversation for your 25 minute appointment and you have very little time to speak except “at the end” as he calls it, by all means please select Dr. Khatib.
* If you want a doctor who really likes to go over ALL the notes from your last appointment first and uses up your very critically timed 25 minutes with a knock at the door, YES, times up, and the doctor gets up and leaves in mid question, by all means, please select Dr. Khatib.
* If you want your doctors office to be very dark, very stuffy from no fresh air ever, with only one fluorescent light, that flickers nonstop and gives you eye aches as you wait (that you addressed previously) by all means, please select Dr. Khatib.
* I terminated my primary care authorization with Dr. Khatib after only 6 visits. The knock at the door - getting up in mid response to my request to titrate down on one of my medications - finalized everything for me.
* UPDATE * If you want a doctor who terminates your ability to log on to their portal so you can’t see ANY of your visit summaries, once you have a new primary doctor, by all means, please select Dr. Khatib’s office. I still have access to every health portal from every state/doctors office for the last 15 years! This is a perfect example of why I chose to leave Dr. Khatib’s practice!

*UPDATE TO DR KHATIB'S REPLY 10-29-2023* MANY OF MY CONCERNS WOULD HAVE BEEN ADDRESSED IMMEDIATELY HAD I BROUGHT THEM TO YOUR ATTENTION:
How on earth would that even have been possible when I was not really permitted to discuss anything with you until the end of the appointment? You liked putting your finger up and stating "after I am done reviewing, we will talk about that!"

My cardiologist and eye doctor still issue my prescriptions for 90 days at a time with 3 refills! You CONTROL the dosage at a max of 90 days at a time, and refills up to 3 per Medicare but nope, not you! You write one at a time and won’t renew UNLESSS I have a scheduled next appointment with you per Miranda….it is a very STRICT rule! None of my prescriptions have EVER been changed or been refilled improperly as you suggested....as if we don't know anything about our own prescriptions! Yes, Dr. Khatib, we are far more intelligent that you want to give credit in your responses. Shame on you Dr. Khatib.

I did speak to Miranda about the flickering lights in your waiting room. I did speak to Miranda about no fresh air in the office after a weekend.

Plus, Miranda called me to come in 1/2 hour early at my last appointment, which I did, and you were still late for my scheduled appointment and then you cut me off with a knock at the door because my time was up!!! UNBELIEVABLY RUDE. The next patient was OBVIOUSLY more important than me!

The patient portal can have your settings changed to allow previous patients to see their records after leaving! You controlled that capability when you set up your account, so YES, you can change that setting IF you wanted to. Why would you cut off access to your patients records just because they moved on? UNBELIEVABLE……You are the only doctor around that does that and then you blame it on your system. ?

My review is 100% true and accurate based on my own personal experiences with Kathib Family Practice, regardless of any rebuttal from Dr. Khatib. It is amazing he has time to reply to my review but not time for me face to face! Speaks volumes to me.

Dr. Khatib has been our physician for 15 years. He is a kind & caring person as well as a knowledgeable doctor. He has taken care of both my husband and myself through numerous illnesses, including Cancer and Dementia in my husband's case. He will refer to other physicians in the area if he feels their expertise is needed, and only if you agree.
The ladles who work with Dr. Khatib are friendly, gracious, and extremely competent.
We did have another doctor for a few years before we switched over to Dr. Khatib. I had to see Dr.Khatib for a problem when our regular doctor was out of town. I liked Dr. Khati, but we remained with our previous physician until I was faced with an emergency in which our regular doctor never returned my calls. I called Dr. Khatib's office, the ladies got me in right away, and my emergency was skillfully and attentively taken care of.
IMHO Dr. Khatib is one of the top-notch family physicians in Bullhead City, AZ.

Dr Khatib is one of the most compassionate Doctor I have ever met. I’m retired from the Medical field and you don’t find many Doctora like him. He listens and he’s very thorough. I would definitely recommend him as your Primary care Doctor.

No HYPOCRATIC OATH, this man is a monster. I was in full blown panic attack and this "man" told me to control yourself, I have other patients, only worries about his reputation. Oh and then said to my remark I'm scared to death my Son is dead, this man, knowing I was in extreme stress SAID HE PROBABLY IS..

Dr. Khatib himself was a good doctor, but his staff is unbelievably rude and unhelpful. Even the receptionist that answers the phone!! I refuse to spend one more dime to be treated like dirt. Sorry Doc.. But you need a new staff!!
