We loved Dr Patel, but ever since cool kids pediatrics took over it’s been an absolute nightmare. Even with an appointment, wait times are consistently an hour, and there’s nothing to even entertain the kids at a pediatricians office!! Just expected to sit in a waiting room for over an hour before even being brought to a room which will you will inevitably be waiting 20 to 30 more minutes . The new doctor is nice enough, but in my experience, she came off a little Judgey and gave me parenting tips when not asked (told me I need to start making my three year old, dress and undressed himself without help and was telling me how I needed to get him to take a nap differently, and I certainly did not ask for her parenting tips). Breaks my heart that Dr Patel is retiring, we ended up switching pediatricians.

All 5 of my children have been seen for the past 14 years. He<<< is professional, if u have any questions he has answers, u have concerns he listens and if needed he will make a plan of action with you. He’s never ever been rude to any1 in my family not have I ever heard him being rude or passive. On day 1 he always has talked to the children, acknowledging their feelings & concerns. It shows the children they are important & their well being is as well. After he sees over the children he’ll consult me. He showed me, not all of the questions should be asked to the parent becuz the parent is not the patient the child is.The patient knows their body more than any1 else. Other doctors b4 him did not do it this way. He retires soon & we will miss him.

My daughters have been going to DR Patel from birth they are 10 and 7. They love him to death and he has become the official pediatrician for my entire family. My sisters were so impressed with him they too have taken their kids to him from birth or after I found him for my children either way I trust him and like him so much I drive all the way from Brooksville so my kids can continue to go to him. I couldn’t imagine having to change to someone else and it’s worth the drive for the friendly staff and for his awesome ways. He listens to what you have to say and don’t waist time. He has never been wrong so far with my kids and I’m very grateful he is still practicing medicine and hope he continues for a long time!

Good staff. Terrible phones. Just drive in - don’t bother calling. It will save you time.

Sept 24: I paid a bill in June. Their billing folks in Miami sent an identical bill every month. The check was cashed 8/20/24. I just received another bill dated 8/26/24 for the same visit. Stay away, or prepare to be harassed.

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Patel and his staff. He has been our family pediatrician for 15years. He is always available, I can stop by anytime and never have to wait more than 10 mins. I've tried several other pediatricians because we moved to N. Tampa.....NO ONE can compare. I trust him and his staff whole heartedly and gladly make the 35 minute drive!! I don't know what we will do when he retires My youngest is 2yrs old.....he has to tuff it out for at least 15 more years!! Thank you Dr. Patel and staff for your loving care and dedication!!

Not even worth one star! The staff here is very rude and need to learn bedside manners. My daughter was adopted and there was an issue with the insurance defaulting to the birth last name and they won't pull you out privately to discuss this kind of stuff and will just say things in front of the child and when you bring it to their attention they will make it out like they did nothing wrong. They runied my idea of waiting till she was older to explain the situation and had no sympathy or anything for what they've done wrong. I will not suggest this doctor for anyone they are only out to get money from the government very poor judgement on there part avoid this place at all cost.

Dr patel is absolutely amazing, he shows genuine care and is very sweet to my child. The older spanish woman with short hair is also great. The other staff however are rude and short with you.

My son has down syndrome and we drive 40 minutes to Dr. Patel's office on a monthly basis. His office staff has always been helpful and Dr.Patel is wonderful! We have been with him for 6 + years.
