I've had her for a doctor for a few years. I was in a situation when I started with her, where I was in an abuse situation. I told her about it 3 times on different occasions. I needed help. The abuse was affecting my health. She straight ignored every mention of the abuse. Completely.

Now I'm having a different health issue. I have a bunch of symptoms, they all seem connected somehow. My labs are all over the place. She told me to drink water. That's it.

I'm not dehydrated....I focus hydration all the time . She doesn't ask questions. She's not interested in any information you may have about yourself. She seems to have a "script" when she walks in and will not deviate. She just doesn't care and has no professional curiosity. At all. Can't make her care.

I'm glad so many had a better experience with her than I did. I've arranged a new pcp and am all set here....

Very helpful, friendly. She helped me understand my blood work. We talked about any concerns. She did a physical and checked everything like breathing and blood pressure.

Dr. Parikh is such a professional, compassionate doctor. She's very thorough and takes ample time to discuss any concerns.
Her staff Holly and Amber (these are the only ones that I've had the pleasure of talking with or via gateway) are extremely knowledgeable, kind, empathetic, and take excellent messages that are relayed to Dr. Parikh or her associates.

This is my second appointment with Dr. Parikh. I feel like my Dr. & I have a real partnership. She listens well & makes suggestions to address my concerns, whether large or small. I had bloodwork done in the morning and the results came that afternoon - lots of detailed information in the Gateway that I found empowering. A very good experience.

I arrived earlier than my scheduled visit but did not have to wait long to be called into the examining room. The technician who took my BP & other vitals was pleasant and professional. I met with Dr Parikh for the first time (I had been a patient of Dr Tanguay's for over 20 years but he's retired; I had seen the doctor that replaced him -and then left-once and then Covid hit & I opted to not participate in virtual office visits). I was impressed with Dr Parikh's demeanor. Script that was called in for me wasn't able to be filled by the pharmacy but a replacement script followed quickly. All in all, a good visit tho I could do without the scale! 🙂

Dr. Parikh is very pleasant, personable, and professional. She is thorough and thoughtful. She listens attentively and answers your questions in an easy to understand manner. I think these are all important qualities a doctor should have.

I met my primary care doctor after waiting 3 1/2 months for my first appt. The office waiting time for the interview appt was on time and the the taking of my medical history was thorough!! She provided the needed referrals through the mail. (She listened.)

I wanted a referral to one kind of specialist, she refused saying I needed to see another kind of specialist first before she would make such referral, even though I had been having severe life interfering pain In the area in question.

She also provided advice re an attitude that I expressed. At first I resented such advice but later after reflection - she was right. I appreciated her thinking/opinion.

Because I am new to the area I did not appreciate the driving distance from my home in Newburyport to the Haverhill office. Due to my age and eyesight I’m going to have to request a Newburyport Pentucket primary Care physician.

Over-all, Pentucket Medical is a wonderful medical facility.
Dr. Parikh is very caring and listens to and addresses your concerns. Very good communicator.
They have many specialists and services available at the downtown Haverhill site and also offer deeper services at the Lawrence facility.
Would be lost without them.
