So i will simply write a review about the medication refill department. They have been miserable to deal with since my baby has been a new born about filling prescriptions just for teething to be more specific. As mother we just want to be heard validated Listened to and honored. I am a wonderful loving mother and having to talk to the medication refill department has always been a struggle. Other than the medication refill department. The doctors have been wonderful dr short formally just recwntly retired i am thankful for all of his professionalism and help with my newborn thank you for his beautiful Circumcision. i can say i will leave a bad review for prescriber RACHEL GIANFORTUNE. She has continually.denied filling any prescriptions ready for refill.thank you la mesa pediatrics. I wish providers worried more about the mothers opinions and concerns more than there own parenting views and opinions out of things. Excpecally to loving parents.thank you la mesa pediateics the frony desk representitives have also been more than helpfull and organized.

Dr. G is the best pediatrician we have ever worked with. She does so much to stay up to date on the latest research and guidance, and she has a great respect for all of the complicated overlapping concerns and practical limitations involved in health and parenting. Go to her prepared to listen and learn, because she knows what she's talking about. As some people have noted it can be a little hard to get through on the phone, so I try to schedule follow ups while I'm there whenever I can.

My children had to be changed to this office due to their previous pediatrician (who was amazing) office closing.
My daughter saw Dr. Empie. She has a great bedside manner, However, their office staff is not up to par with providing good service. During the initial appointment, nobody greeted us to check in, they were having conversations amongst themselves, and not making eye contact with the people in the waiting room. Calling and expecting a response does not happen. My daughter was referred for physical therapy and despite leaving multiple messages and sending my chart messages, I have yet to receive a response from anyone in the office. The office staff definitely needs some training in customer service and professionalism. We will be changing pediatricians. I would not recommend anyone to this office. This has by far been the worst experience I have ever had with any doctors office. I am only giving two stars because the doctor really was great, It’s unfortunate that the office staff does not meet her level.

We were out of town from our normal pediatrician in Stanford Medical and were recommended to go here for a last minute visit. We were glad we did.

You could tell the families have been going here forever and everyone seemed to know each other. I was particularly encouraged to see the nurses from the nearby hospital and other first responders in the waiting room with their children for their checkups during their breaks.

Clean, efficient, and friendly. Would recommend.

Ive never had to wait more than 30 min in the waiting room and never had any bad experiences with the staff. Ive been coming to La Mesa Pediatrics since my daughter was a New Born and now She is 9 years old. The Nurses and Doctors have always taken good care of her. I honestly recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Horrible bedside manner. From the doctor, from the nurse, from the front staff. Hardly talked to our child at all. Felt like conveyor belt health service. NEXT NEXT NEXT. They will with-hold information and manipulate you into more process/procedures than necessary to charge your insurance more. All for their own convenience and to make more money at the expense of your child. Male doctor is quite creepy. Didn't ask or announce that he would be pulling our daughters pants down and checking her. No warning. No communication. All they have is stickers for the kids? Seriously? Thankfully i do not float with the current. I advocate fiercely for my child. They did not seem to like that, or that we have our own schedule for our child's care that is not at all difficult to adhere to. If I could give zero stars I would.

It’s Pediatric clinic, with all respects to others, but why they are pushing this (LGBT) to children? Flags are everywhere! They are all infants, toddlers, kids , and teenagers under 18!!!

The Nurse Sally was so great. She had my daughter smiling and comfortable and happy. She’s def pro with kids. Dr. Imus is truly an amazing doctor!!! He always LISTENS and is so patient. I never feel like my questions are overlooked or brushed off, I never feel like he’s in a rush. Grateful for a doctor like him!
