Can’t say enough good things about this office. Truly the best pediatric office I’ve ever taken my kids too! The office staff is so understanding and want to make things convenient for us parents. I appreciate the email communications and the friendliness anytime I call. They also offer same day or following day appts most of the time for existing patients. The nurse practitioner is so sweet to my kids, they really love her and get excited for their appointments. I’m so happy I found this place! I definitely recommend it to other parents. My kid’s smiles say it all!

Lake Elsinore Pediatrics is the best baby/children’s doctor office in the Inland Empire. We have been coming to this office for over 2 years, since my son’s first newborn appointment. All of the staff are KIND and welcoming. Anytime I need an appointment, they do their best to get us in ASAP. When my baby was a newborn, I went in A LOT as a new mom that worried about everything. Dr. Jimmy (Phan) and his staff are seriously amazing! I trust Dr. Phan and the recommendations he makes for my child, I know he truly cares about the best interest of him. I never feel rushed or pressured. He always listens to my concerns and gives me the validation and confidence that I am making the right medical choices for my son. I refer him to everyone I know with kiddos. So much so, my brother and SIL made the switch and now Dr. Phan also sees my 3 nephews. If you are looking for a patient, trustworthy, understanding, knowledgeable and funny PEDIATRICIAN in the local area, 10/10 recommend. I am fairly certain Dr. Jimmy is BATMAN and his staff are his heroic sidekicks fighting cooties and keeping kiddos healthy!

I wanted to love this Pediatrics office because I had just moved to Lake Elsinore and they looked really cool. I had, however, a rather disappointing experience. This is my own experience, under a set of unfortunate circumstances, and might not reflect on the usual quality of this office. However, I've only been there once, and it happened to be on the week that their pediatrician was sick.

I moved to the US with my baby at age 3 months. I was quite anxious because the vaccines at 4 months here and my country or origin were slightly different. We also had to change formula since my brand is not sold in the US. So many changes, for a first time parent. So we searched the best pediatrics in the area and were recommended to come here. We waited 1 month for our 4 month well-being visit (it felt like months) and the day or 2 days before our appointment, we get a call from the office saying the pediatrician was sick with COVID! It was very unfortunate, and ofc I don't blame anyone for getting sick or needing a sick leave. We were given the option of rescheduling or going in anyway, but with the nurse practicioner, Sheila. We were reassured she was just as capable and we didn't want to wait another 2 weeks, so we agreed.

On the day of the visit, we arrived 10 minutes early because we knew there was going to be paperwork to fill. Their tablets kept giving us issues and we had to restart several times and they insisted we do it all before entering the office, so we wasted some time here while other repeat patients that arrived after us were passed before us. Small deal.

Then once we finally got inside, and the basic measurements were taken (height, weight), we waited for a long time. I believe it was around 1h, but this was some time ago and I no longer remember exactly. I do remember our 4 month baby getting fussier as we were inside a small room with no AC (the corridor had AC so we often just opened the door and waited by the door).

After about an hour of waiting, the NP came in. She did explain she was late because she was taking both her patients and the pediatrician's. But I still don;t know why they prioritize toddlers over babies... babies have very strict schedules, they feed every so often and if not eating, they need to be sleeping.... between getting ready and waiting there and going home, it had been close to 2 hours. This was a horrible 1st impression, and it alone would detract me from going back. If you're a repeat client, maybe you'll forgive this as a one-time incident, but a new client should never be treated like this.

Other than the wait, my other issue was that the NP didn't really give us many answers we were seeking. Most of her answers were book-answers. The typical ones you see on the internet, with no extra back up. We do a lot of research (like most first parents nowadays, I believe), and we felt like talking to the NP wasn't better than doing a Google search. Our top 2 concerns were the formula change (she said that as long as the baby wasn't allergic to milk, any formula will do, and gave us samples of Enfamil.) but didn't explain much on possible outcomes of changing the formula, or what other brands are good in the US,.. Enfamil is one of the most expensive options and I have ended up switching away from it.

Such a great experience with Dr. Jimmy and his staff. His staff was so incredibly kind and helpful to me. Dr. Jimmy supports your decisions as a parent and offers great advice.
I'm so thankful my kids have a Pediatrician that we can trust and feel safe going to. Plus they take insurance which is so helpful. Thank you!!

Had a fantastic experience at Dr. Jimmy’s office! My son was a little hesitant about getting his blood pressure taken and the nurse was very patient and encouraging, waiting until he was ready. The front desk ladies were friendly and the office was clean and professional. Dr. Jimmy exceeded my expectations. He was fun, personable, answered my questions and made me feel comfortable and like he was on my team as a mom, which is not how I have felt with some pediatricians. His office is equipped with a simple machine used to test kids’ eyes (so my son didn’t have to read letters or shapes he hasn’t learned yet) and they did the hemoglobin and lead test in house so I didn’t need to be referred to a lab. Dr. Jimmy’s goal is clearly to make kids and parents feel comfortable and to make the experience convenient and positive. My kids were smiling and excited to pick a prize on their way out. When I got home I received a text with info on how to contact the office online with questions or concerns about my kids’ health which helps me to feel equipped and supported. Thank you, Dr. Jimmy and staff for a great experience!
