I visited this practice hoping for a thorough examination of my dental pain. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The dentist quickly diagnosed my symptoms as caused by teeth grinding, dismissing my concerns without fully investigating. I was told my discomfort was likely due to grinding, and no further tests were conducted.

However, after seeking a second opinion, I discovered that my pain was actually due to a wisdom tooth pressing against the side of my mouth, causing an infection. This was something the dentist didn’t take the time to examine or consider.

I understand that diagnosing dental issues can be complex, but I feel that my case was handled too hastily, and I left without the proper care or resolution. I would have appreciated a more thorough examination or a better explanation of potential causes for my pain.

Ultimately, my issue could have been identified much sooner, and I now feel that my health was compromised by the lack of attention to detail.

After going to an actual dental surgeon he quickly removed my wisdom tooth that the nurse at this practice said “wasn’t there” and solved my issues within a few days. He gave my tips on how to take care of it more throughly than any other practitioner ever has. Overall I believe this is a good place to go to for any kind of check up but never for an actual serious dental issue.

I have been going to Lakeforest Dental for almost 20 years now. I primarily saw Dr. Zaner (now retired) and in this past year switched to Dr. Daftary. I have always been happy with this practice. I have had issues in the past with grinding my teeth and headaches from teeth clenching. This year I had managed to crack 2 teeth that needed repair. I used to ignore some crooked bottom teeth, assuming it was purely cosmetic. However, Dr. Daftary showed me how my misaligned bite was unevenly distributing pressure when my teeth came together. He recommended clear aligners to correct my bite and teeth crowding. He was straight forward with the cost and procedure and ultimately let me decide how to proceed. I did decide to fix my teeth, and while I am still clenching some at night (stress) I notice that my associated headaches are gone and I am not having jaw tightness during the day. My teeth look great, but also, I am not causing cracks in them now. I am very happy with them overall.

I booked an appointment a week ago and confirmed that I would be coming in then. I made it today to the appointment only to hear them tell me that my appointment has been cancelled. This is after the fact that I made it all the way there. There was a big lack of miscommunication in letting me know ahead of time that the appointment would be cancelled. The receptionist lady was extremely rude to me saying that they tried calling me to tell me that they would cancel the appointment if they didn’t hear from me which was odd seeing that I had already confirmed my appointment day of scheduling and also communicated to them that I did not want any calls after scheduling I will make it to the appointment day off. Do not book an appointment here!! Clearly they do not know how to make a note in the patients file on their system not care about their clients. Find another dental office that’ll respect their clientele!

Hi there! My husband and I have been patients with Dr. Neil for 21+ years now. I can’t tell you, but I will, on how happy I am with the staff, Delani, his dental asst (who is so honest and up front with her advice and opinions) plus her kind work ethics, along with Elizabeth, the dental hygienist, who is the best, plus, so thorough in her work. She makes sure I get my goodie bag before I leave! Each time I’m in need of Dr. Neil’s dental expertise, I know I will get great work done plus honest advice on any specific routine that needs to be done, from root canals, crowns, implants, X-rays, tooth extractions, I’ve had it all. And the outcome has been fantastic. I’ve also had emergencies that needed to be done immediately and the office fits me in. Not a week from then, but immediately. Even if the work was temporary it became permanent shortly thereafter. The front office staff is so efficient with confirmations and sending out reminders. Jasmine and her staff makes sure of it! I can go on and on. I have great experiences each time at Lakeforest Dental. I thoroughly and highly recommend new patients to this practice and dental services. Thank you for reading. I have been a patient with Lakeforest Dental Associates for 16 plus years.

Dr. Daftary and staff are awesome! Most people run from the dentist I'm the opposite I love to go because I know service is going to be great. I'm greeted with a warm smile each time I go it's like one big happy family.

Ms. Elizabeth was my hygienist for many years. Today, I met my new hygienist Ms. Esther she was great and have a pleasant sense of humor.

I have referred family and friends thus far all are very pleased.

The location is great and it's on a bus line and not far from 270.

Lakeforest Dental keep up the great work and thank you for your services.

This is my first visit to Dr. Daftary and Lakeside Dental. I have been looking for a dentist for a while since COVID. It was a great experience from the first phone conversation to book the appointment to the Staff is pleasant, kind and helpful. The leaning was gentle but thorough. Dr. Daftary was kind but to the point. I wasn't not berated for not seeing a dentist for a while. I was given options and staff promptly took care of next steps.

A wonderful experience from start to finish. This past week, I thought I might have cracked my tooth and my dentist was on vacation, so I called this office, which was close to my workplace. They had a same day appointment. The front office was very friendly and welcoming. The paperwork was straightforward to fill out. When I went back to get checked, Dr. Daftery and the dental assistant were efficient and kind. It turns out that I didn't have a broken tooth, but Dr. Daftery said that I had a filling in that tooth that needs to be replaced. I've recommended this office to co-workers in case they need a dentist or if they need to make an emergency visit.
