I started my process in 2017 and had to do 6 months of logs and doctors appointments and everything for insurance approval. January 2018 Dr. Gore did my gastric sleeve surgery. Everything went smoothly. I’ve since has to have a gastric bypass (Dec 2018) and then a revision on it (Feb 2019) due to rare complications. None which were Dr. Gore’s fault. In total I have lost about 140lbs even after having another baby since my last surgery. He has been absolutely amazing from day one and has helped me out in every way possible to get to the root of all of my problems. I have actually seen him out in public once and he didn’t hesitate to check and see how I was doing then either. The office staff is some of the kindest and caring people I have ever met. They make you feel welcome and comfortable every visit, which doesn’t happen at a lot of offices now days. I highly recommend Dr. Gore to everyone I know who is considering these procedures. I have had great success and so have some of my friends that are also his patients.

Dr Gore is a wonderful. His whole team is wonderful. From our first consult to f/u from the bariatric sleeve surgery. My husband and I were treated so very special. They always answered our questions and got back with us if we had to leave message on phone. We would definitely tell anyone thinking of having bariatric surgery yo give them a call. Dr. Gore performed the gastric sleeve surgery on me to help me lose weight, on 2/6/20. I had to go through 6 months of appointments with the nutritionist for my insurance to approve the surgery. I feel like all the staff at the weight management center were all rooting for me to be successful in my weight loss journey. They did a fantastic job of making sure I understood everything and that I understood this was a whole lifestyle change. Dr. Gore was amazing performing the surgery and after. I feel like he has great bedside manner and treated me with the utmost respect. I did have a couple of problems after, with continuously getting sick. He did everything, all sorts of test, to make sure everything was ok and that I didn't have any complications from the surgery. Overall, I am very pleased with the care I received from them. Thanks to their help, I have lost a total of 130lbs and I could not be more happy with my results. Thank you all so much. I will be forever grateful for you all. I also love the NP Hannah. She came on after I had already started the process and the appointments. She has also been incredible for my follow up appointments.

I wish I could say my experience with Dr. Gore and his office was great but it wasn’t. I was a transfer patient and was seeking medical help due to severe abdominal pain and during his care I was treated like I was a liar and crazy all because he could not see where my gastric sleeve was placed from my revision I had with my surgeon from another state. He also told me there was no evidence of a hernia repair in which I had a year ago, I think I would know what I had done to me. I kept reminding him where my sleeve was and it was like he never retained that information and because it wasn’t how he would have done the revision from sleeve to bypass I never had it. Also the medical assistant was not detailed enough when it came to the notes needed for my short term disability and because of their lack of information I was not approved for my short term disability pay leaving me with no income for 2 months! There was no compassion or felt like my well being was truly at heart. I had to fly back home to get the proper care and answers. I would not recommend this doctor as a transfer patient looking for another bariatric doctor because if you have any issues and there’s any difference in how your surgery was done vs how he does it, prepare for an uphill battle during treatment.

Yes he is a nice doctor, but i feel like nothing gets done! If your having major complications and he gets stuck its pretty much it for you. I had surgery 9 months ago and I'm still having alot of complications a second surgery that didn't fix anything and its just a slap in the face! Currently looking for a new specialist maybe this way i will get some real Answers or results! Definitely regret having the surgery now, since I feel I’m not in any good care anymore!
