The front desk were absolutely horrible they were just staring at the line and were laughing the whole time. Once it was our turn to be helped we just wanted a school note and they tried calling once for a few seconds and had us wait in a different line. Thankfully the MA recognized us and helped us right away. Had a great experience with the back office, couldn’t say the same about checking in. Would give it 0 stars if possible.

They never answer the messages left. You call wait 45 minute to someone to answer and when they do they say I'll send a message to the doctor. They never respond. Let's not talk about responding to SDI. Waits are long in the office some time hours with an appointment. People in the front are nice but they expend more time making jokes between them than helping customers. The phone constantly rings without being answer. If I could give 0 stars, this would be the case. I have been with this clinic for about 3 years. I have only been seen 4 times (twice this month). The first time (what I would believe being) was misdiagnosed with a thyroid disorder.

Always took an hour, if not longer, to answer the phones to schedule an appointment. So just leave a message they will try to call you back the next day (at an inconvenient time).
Finally, I got an appointment. They tried to tell you they are booked for appointments until they see one free (this week or the next day).

After they rescheduled my appointment twice then they surprise me with a "before you come in Thursday we need labs Wednesday" (it was Tuesday. Being informed all this when they knew weeks prior to my original appointment is pretty unprofessional). I get it they have other people to worry about...

I get through my appointment to find out my hormones are normal. Until I tell them I stopped taking the medication a year ago. Then it's "these hormones seem a little high"...

Not only that. The same appointment I tried to get a TB test on that Thursday. (You know 2 birds, one stone. Also, who knows the next time I'll be seen again.) You know you have to get that read in 48 hrs. Well, I guess whoever gave me the test didn't realize they would be closed on Saturday. She was definitely aware they were closed Sunday because she was very adamant about returning on Saturday.... the day they are closed.

Lots of misinformation and lack of communication.

waited 2 months for my appointment for them to cancel it the same morning offered me an appointment until april! another 2 months very unprofessional cant get a hold of them on the phone have you on hold for 45+ minutes

This group was assigned to me by the State of California and Gold Coast Health Care. The state has paid them for 15 months. I have been calling them, to make an appointment to see a Doctor. THEY WON’T EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE. I have called 7 times over the last 48 hours. They can’t be bothered to see me. I changed my provider. New provider answered instantly, and I have and appointment with my new doctor. Thinking about Las Islas? Just, no.

Horrible when calling for an appointment, as an MA they have thought us to never let a caller on the phone waiting for over 3 minutes and can be on hold with this office for over an hour and no answer, and the thing is that they have a lot of staff and no one seems to answer EVER! then when they do answer they act like they don't care about patient needs.

My past experience with this clinic .has been nothing but a nightmare. Dr Ramerez has not answered any phone calls that I’ve left messages for her in the past sometimes her stuff will contact me but only to tell me a different appointment has been scheduled. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through the neglect and abuse that this clinic puts out they don’t even answer their phones you can call to leave a message and they will say that the phone is too busy and for you to call back later that’s totally unacceptable especially when dealing with life-threatening illnesses and or treatment for chronic problems. The staff is totally unprofessional. Not everyone is that bad but most of them. I can’t wait to find a new doctor and I have good insurance. Stay away from this clinic and or any Ventura county medical Center programs I have been with the county medical programs for over 30 years I’ve never been so dissatisfied my life.

Took a a bit to get an appointment as a new patient... but my experience at the clinic has been very positive. I thought Dr. Perera & the staff were very thorough, professional, curtious & caring. I saw Dr. Perera on Monday & was referred for PT & for 2 scans & was called with appointments for them all by Wednesday.
I really look forward to having all my medical needs handled by the clinic & their professional staff.
