We have been going there for 5 years and we have had nothing but positive feedback for this office. They are great with figuring out any problems or concerns. Really care about the kids and are so welcoming. My girls of course hate shots but they have made every experience they have had comfortable and fun.

TRASH. TRASH. TRASH. They will refuse to help out. Talk to you like you’re stupid. No sense of urgency. I hope you or your kids never need anything when they’re closed cause they will be “unable to help” even if your kids require what you’re asking for. Stay far away from this place. They’re awful.

I miss the days when the receptionist picked up the phone and greeted you and actually talked to you and helped with what you needed. If you had questions for the doctor she would email the question and have a nurse call you back. If you needed to make an appointment or change one or had a quest about it they were very helpful. They had so much patience when you asked questions or were trying to explain things.
Now you get a menu where they tell you to leave a message and wait for the nurse to call you back. Most of the time they are great at calling the same days which most doctor offices don't. I know I have to accept that now days you'll never be able to speak to a receptionist again.
As for the doctors they are great and sometimes go above and beyond for both the kids and even the parents. They are great at listening to you and answering any questions that you have. It's a great place and I definitely recommend it to other parents.

My family loves Lawrence Pediatrics! We moved to Lawrence a little over two years ago from NYC and it has been very refreshing to see the care and attention the entire staff here provides to their patients. I have two kids with frequent minor health concerns, and their daily walk-in hours work so well for busy families. Dr. Jacobs is who we see regularly, and she is extremely thorough, kind, listens to all my anxious mom questions, and takes the time to inquire about the whole family at regular well visits. She follows up with specialists to ensure she has all of the information she needs to treat my children.

We had a really scary experience with RSV a year ago when my son was a newborn, and the staff scheduled us to come see them daily for several days while monitoring his condition, until ultimately they had to send us to Children's Mercy. When that happened, they called ahead and ensured everything was set up so we could breeze through the ER waiting room and be seen right away, given his young age and small size.

We really love that we bring all our children to this one location. The teenagers and littles can all be seen by the same doctor, which makes things so much smoother in our big family. They also accept Medicaid and were wonderful to deal with after the birth of both our youngest children, while we were getting insurance set up for them.

We also love how personable our primary doctor is. We really do feel like she cares about the health of all of our children, and we appreciate that small personal touch of kindness that she personally adds to each visit.

I wanted to update my review:
After being with this same practice for about 6 years, I still love it here. They take great care of my kids and really give guidance without being pushy. The office staff is wonderful and always kind. I enjoy taking my kids here, it is a pleasant experience for everyone.
Love all the providers here. I always get seen at our appointment time with no wait. The doctors are thorough and have simple solutions and really want to know what you as a parent have for input in your child’s care. The nurses are so sweet and are really comforting when your child needs shots. I like this practice, because I don’t get lost in the shuffle.
