Response time was good, paramedics were good. I am a new spinal cord injury and a new wheelchair user, my problem is that they left my wheelchair at my house. I got out of the hospital 3 weeks ago. Ive never been in an ambulance and I wasn't thinking about anything but the pain I was experiencing. When you are a spinal cord injury and cannot walk, your wheelchair is your lower extremities it is the only way you can ambulate.

They need to do a better job and wasn’t very professional. When they came to my house I told the EMT lady with the short gold hair how I was feeling and she made it personal stating she was feeling that way as well and that it’s just “allergies”. The guy that was with her did not have a mask on when he walked in. The first thing they said when they came to my house was “do you want us to take you to the hospital or not”. Two days later I went to get tested and found out I was positive for Covid. I don’t know where they found those two but it was not professional at all. They did not take me serious. I cannot smell or taste anything. I knew something was wrong with me. You guys need compassionate workers.

Leon County EMS, a CAAS accredited service, is the premier ambulance service in the state and I would go as far as to say the nation. Their willingness to strive to provide the best care possible makes them a leader in multiple areas of EMS services provided throughout the country.

They are billing me over the insurance adjusted amount even though it is a violation of state law. Fraudulent billing department.

Thanks to the LCEMS who arrived quickly after I went through a cloud of fumes on Orange Avenue and Jim Lee Road.
