The lady at the front desk was very sweet and patient as well as the nurses and doctors. 10/10 visit. The doctor took his time and did not rush our visit, he even looked up photos to help our understanding with our issue. Thank you guys again for all your help!

Update: They turn away patients at 3:45pm (Not 60 minutes prior to 5pm as listed on the website). Uncompassionate staff. One person told me to call ahead of time, another person told me they don't take appointments and kept interrupting my questions.

It's unfortunate because I had a decent experience here previously. I did not expect the staff to be so callous. They also don't answer their phone consistently. I notice that one of the tags is "lie". It seems that they do lie to you. In other words, they do not tell you the truth about their operations and are misleading. Information is conflicting and inconsistent.

It is really heartbreaking to know that these people would easily not tell you the truth about a serious disease someone gave to you. Just one week in, I got a call. I got the call from a secondary doctor of the bad news from my lifelong clinic in Berkeley!! The white lady who worked with me at the Urgent Care Diagnose when I went there. she hesitated to tell me the truth, and someone coached her to say on the phone with me...
It's sad that someone can easily tell you a fable to destroy your life!!
Thanks to the doctor who was honest with me and got me treated. I've been clean for 5 plus months. So whatever you do, dont go to this clinic. They will lie to you, Go to the richmond one!!! I know it was further, but it's worth it!!

I have been seen at this location multiple times over the years, and appreciate the kindness and competence of the staff from the front desk to the doctors. When my injury required more specialized care, they immediately referred me to the ER. Note: they do not prescribe ANY narcotic or related pain meds under any circumstances. It's a general policy of LifeLong, so if pain is your issue, go directly to the ER.

I was feeling pain and needed to see a doctor. The front desk Hispanic lady with baby hairs was immediately dismissive and told me to go to ER. I asked her if she could talk to the doctor. She went to get the doctor and immediately she said she could she me, but there were limited resources. Next thing the doctor walk away and she starts being rude to me again with no one around. I under so much pain, just being in a car accident respond in pain back. Over talking her as she is me. Then a white lady comes and adds to the yelling at me and degrading me. They both tel me to leave. I ask them for the supervisor name and which days I could speak with him. They continued to not tell me until I start getting more aggregated. As they are over talking me I’m over talking them. Sad, upset, and frustrated. They then tell me as they are degrading me that the doctor said she won’t see me. She just had said she seen me, but then changes her mind based off their recollection of our interaction. After that they step to the side and start telling the doctor blatant lies about me. I can hear them, so I raise my voice to the doctor attention since they are on the other side of the wall. I said, “ that’s not true, she was rude to me first” so then they started to gang up on me and say that I’m being aggressive and they are scared of me. Mind you the same language that’s used that justifies black peoples being killed by the cops. They tell me to leave and calls security. It’s sad black women are treated so poorly here. As we was talking I subconsciously took off my mask upset. That was a total accident, I am so very sorry and remorseful for subconsciously removing my mask when medical staff put their life on the line.

When they told me to put it back on, I immediately do. I have been with life long for 5 years and have a doctor in east Oakland names Monique.

I was hurt and in pain and not my intention to offend anyone. It’s so sad that they treated a Black woman like trash. I went home cried to my mommy and called my mental health counselor to talk about my experience with them.

It needs to come to the light how rude the front staff is and how she tried to make it seem like I started it all.

I will be spreading the word to other black people in the community.

Not the worst, not the best. Waited almost 2 hours to be seen. Thankfully I came in for a very straightforward issue that just needed antibiotics. Can't speak of a more urgent or complicated issue being treated here, but while I waited they did refer some people to the ER so it seems not every case can be seen here.

I’ve been here several times this year due to an eye infection. The front desk staff was very nice and the doctor was able to prescribe the correct medicine for my condition. The only thing is that I had the wrong diagnoses 2 times and was in a lot of pain and discomfort. The wait times could be long depending on how busy they are, but I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone in need to see a doctor. Also, I think if you have COVID symptoms, they won’t see you because it is located in a cancer medical center.

I had a GREAT experience here. The staff were attentive and professional, the doctor did not seem rushed at all, and the nurse was super friendly (hooray for nurses). I was definitely lucky that I arrived at a time where I was 1 of only 2 people there (by the time I left the waiting room was packed!).
Urgent care facilities are always MUCH better than ERs and I salute LifeLong for providing one to their patients.
I almost forgot: there is FREE VALET PARKING. Let me say this again, FREE VALET PARKING. You can drive up to the entrance, give your key to one of the attendants, and go in.
I know not everyone is going to have the same/good experience but as a 2-time cancer survivor and veteran of MANY HOURS at various ERs around the Bay Area this one is the best!
