After my previous provider left, I was assigned a new provider and had to meet them in person. It was an excellent experience. My provider was Chelsea in the La Mesa offices. She was a great listener, conversational and helpful in that she saw no reason to change anything that had been working well for several years. I would highly recommend this provider.

I’ve had a great experience with life stance. I love my Drs, billing was patient with me when I had a decent balance I needed to pay and offered payments over 4 months which made it easier & more convenient. I had a miscommunication & didn’t have coverage for some time (not LS fault) my therapist is so sweet & I feel a real connection with her as well as my psychiatrist. Wonderful service & they actually take insurance which can be harder to find these days. I needed to get myself together after some major life changes and I don’t know that I could have done it without their continued support. Not as well at least. I feel.. grateful!

LifeStance health has been really great on how I am able to book with my therapist and see my bills and receive messages from my therapist. Some of the issues I have sometimes though is that when I book with my online therapist who is not located in my city, the online platform provides a location and says “in person meeting” even though we have never had the in person meeting. It can be confusing but after a while I got used to it.

Another downside is getting a hold of life stance can sometimes take a while because the phone lines always seem to be really packed. But I could probably use the online platform to communicate better.

My therapist is super wonderful, she uses practical psychology therapy techniques while also talking to me as a person. The only other downside is she can hook up fast so I have to always book in advance! But I can do it easily now. I’m not sure if she is just very busy or if this is the case for other therapists. Anywho, paying me bills are also really easy and they always send me bill reminders which is helpful!

Not something you would normally like to share, however being a person who have been in ministry and loves to help others sharing can definitely change someone’s life.

It has taken me my whole life to understand my childhood trauma. Richard Benfante, has definitely changed my life. His listening ear, spot on suggestions and diagnosis have finally gotten me to a place of peace that I never knew was possible. Richard Benfante, pegged by deep hidden issues day one.

If you go to a therapist and they don’t seam like a good fit chances are they are not!!! Run as fast as you can till you find an honest straight forward therapist who actually wants to help not just collect your money.

Be very careful with this sketchy firm. They are all about billing cadence and not about helping your mental health journey. I scheduled an appointment contingent on their getting insurance approval. I kept asking if they got it approved and told them to cancel appointment since they could not provide confirmation. They charged me $100 for non show. I have called several times, I have emailed them. I mailed a dispute letter to the address on their billing which was returned as undeliverable.

The amount of horrible experiences I have had with this team in less than a year is terrifying! A two-day notice that my psychiatrist wasn't going to be working there anymore (and they didn't give me a basic prescription refill) and I had to do the work of finding a new psychiatrist. But when I did find a new psychiatrist and schedule they canceled on me twice, then I had to find ANOTHER psychiatrist and They canceled another 3 times! Don't bother waisting your time! The details of my experiences are very disturbing including believe and gaslighting and if you don't have problems with rage when you started with them you will by the time your leaving!
