I followed Dr. Howard McVeigh from Rainbow City to Anniston if that can somewhat tell you anything! He is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! He is probably the most kind, compassionate, smart and amazing men/doctors I’ve had the pleasure of knowing!! He actually listens and ACTUALLY HEARS you!!
I 100% RECOMMENDED him and Long Leaf Primary Care!! As long as he remains at this location, I’ll be there!!

I have only ever left one negative review in my life and absolutely hate to do it bc the practice and other staff is not to blame for one nasty persons actions and choices.. with that being said I have no other way to let the physicians and other staff know about a particular lady and how she is losing them business! I swore I wouldn’t go anywhere else bc These doctors and nurses have showed some h true kindness and humility and that is very rare.. But even tho I’ve been there for 1- 2 years bc of one persons uncalled for nasty attitude and behavior Ive been contemplating looking elsewhere.. this world is nasty enough .. why add to it?!?
The above review is before this certain lady began showing how absolutely nasty she really and truly is towards the patients !! (The people who may drive u crazy calling but are the reason YOU HAVE A JOB.. (bc it appears she’s forgotten that important FACT!! )… THAT. IS. EXACTLY what ur job details!!
I truly pray this lady upfront is replaced bc she puts on a show and baby talks the other staff acting innocent and is so ridiculously hateful to patients .. esp if there’s a question asked or if patients don’t act like robots and take ur card and shuffle along!! She (J) could benefit in some people Skills that one DEFINITELY needs when working with the PUBLIC!!
She has been EXTREMELY RUDE & ABSOLUTELY HATEFUL to me personally, (several times) (& I have witnessed the same behavior towards another patient), she has not been truthful several more times, and is the ONLY thing about this practice and other amazing staff that keep them from being the most kind, helpful, sweet & extraordinary staff that they really & truly are minus her.
I give 100 stars out of the 5! If u want a great, smart, kind physician then you’ll find it here!! If they find other graceful, somewhat nice and even kinda of a helpful RECEPTIONIST.. unlike J

Nice people but will never go back here again. Sent my husband here because he was having severe pain in his shoulder and neck. Went here and they did a x-ray and told him he had a very severe muscle spasm. He was prescribed some meds and a week later the pain was still there. He went back a week later because he felt it was getting worse. They did another x-ray and told him the same thing. Referred him to a chiropractor. Went to see the chiropractor and was told his rib was dislocated‼️I was in disbelief and I felt so bad for him because he’s been in severe pain thinking it was a spasm and the entire time his freaking rib was dislocated. There’s no way they could’ve missed that from an x-Ray. Sorry but not sorry for the 1 star because my husband has been catching hell and in so much pain he couldn’t even pick up our son and on top of that having to go to work everyday in severe pain and wondering why the meds wasn’t working! Still can’t believe they missed his rib being dislocated!

I have just about seen every kind of Doctor's in Alabama and Georgia. Dr. McVeigh at Fort Mc Kellen medical center is the hands down best Dr in the world and his Nurse practitioner should be a doctor because he is young enough to know about the updates on sports and body medican and what kind of test or procedures. You need I've been to 4 spealist But their so called Office Manager Amanda took my name off the appointment time and would not let me see any doctor this woman I've never seen before and her and a pharmacist rep got all in my Business so I left and went back to Sanantio to see Dr. Snouffer and Niki Meads lpnrncer they took me back that very day and called me family I felt more welcomed than I ever thought a doctor's office could make me feel I actually felt loved! I left them 1

If you are looking for a family doctor then look no further than doctor McVeigh finally a doctor that will listen and take his time and not rush , you out, the entire staff is that way, in my opinion there is no other doctor,

They need a new receptionist, never answers calls AT ALL. And rude when she does actually answer.
