I have been a patient of Marcia Franklin for 31 years. She is wonderful. Yes, she listens, and explains... so I do not mind waiting for her if her schedule is a little behind, knowing she spends appropriate time with her patients. I feel very fortunate to have her as my doctor.

Dr Franklin is personable, compassionate, thorough and highly skilled. I'm in my sixties and have never had more confidence in a Doctor than I do in Dr Franklin. She may run late with her appointment schedule, but when it's my turn, she is exremely attentive and makes me feel as though I'm the only patient she has for the day.

I have been with Dr Franklin for almost 25 years & she has diagnosed some very complex health ailments I have had over the years & she continues to assist me with my ongoing often severe & debilitating medical issues. She is so caring & goes out of her way to give each patient as much time as needed. Thus she can run very late at times, I always bring a book, & understand that I may have to wait a while to see her but once I do she gives me all the time I need. So I have to understand that she does the same for every patient so I may have to wait to see her. Don’t know what i’d do without her.

This woman keeps patients waiting up to TWO HOURS after their appointment time. To add insult to it she doesn't even bother to apologize or even tell them there is a delay.

She also has been known to mismanage more than a few patients diagnostic needs. What I mean by that is not running the tests that are clearly indicated based on the symptoms presented.

These issues have been known to me by patients of hers over the past 5+ years. So I thought it was time to let others know.

There might be a better choice for a PC....maybe, maybe not.

I no longer live in Massachusetts but if I had to say what I miss most it would be the outstanding medical care I received through my years as a patient with Dr Franklin. A previous post hit the nail on the head. Dr Franklin cares about her patients.
