Dear Dr. Dickey,
I have been unable to actually see you because at my first appointment, as I arrived, I was told you were running 45 min behind. Unfortunately, I was unable to wait because my time is valuable, and I have others who rely on me.
I called in January to make an appointment for a physical and was told I needed to wait until April, so I scheduled for April. Unfortunately, I developed a sinus infection that I tried to deal with for 4 weeks but couldn't kick. I called to make an appointment, and after calling twice and being told by the automated system that all lines were busy, then waiting another 12 minutes for a human to make an appointment, I was able to do so for the following day. The day of my appointment I was called by an extremely rude male stating he didn't realize I had never seen you, so he would have to cancel my appointment. I tried explaining that I had been treated by your nurse practitioner, whom you must cosign for, and that in fact I was not a new patient to your practice. As we continued to disagree on the facts, I asked for him to have you call me: that never happened. I came up to my scheduled appointment (after receiving emails and text reminders from Dignity about my scheduled appointment), only to be met by another very rude female at the front desk. She stated she had spoken with you, and you refused to see me.
As a practicing clinician with management responsibilities, I would be embarrassed and concerned if any of my staff ever treated any patient this way. I subsequently went to urgent care and had a lovely experience. I am sorry that I have wasted so much of my time and energy trying to get in to see you, and will decidedly pay more attention to honest reviews (of clinicians and staff) prior to choosing an MD.

5/5 for Dr. Dickey. I've been seeing her for about 5 years now and she was able to track down a genetic condition I have and prescribed me the correct medication for some mental health issues I've been suffering from the past decade or so.

I understand it's frustrating trying to get a hold of someone in the office but as someone that sees her every 6 months for bloodwork checkups, I see how busy the office assistants are with answering phones, checking patients in/out, setting up future appointments and taking care of everyone in the waiting rooms.

In my opinion, patience is a virtue. Last time I called, the person answering the phone politely told me I had 2 callers ahead of me and I waited until it was my turn, got my bloodwork faxed to Quest, went over my next appointment and took care of everything in a timely manner.

One other thing to add for those that are tech savvy, they have a newly updated Patient Portal and I've rescheduled appointments numerous times that way without having to call in. It was quick and easy and I even have the option or messaging Dr. Dickey, which I did, for a refill on my asthma medication and it was sent to my pharmacy.

Dr. Dickey is and will continue to be my PCP!

Dr. Dickey herself is an incredible and caring doctor. I would give her 5 stars alone, but her office is garbage and the reason for the 1 star review.

For starters, they don't answer the phone. I've tried multiple extensions and can't get through to a person most of the time and when I do it's only to be placed on hold for a long period of time, over an hour in one case. I've tried reaching medical records and the call just drops without going to VM or a desk so it's impossible to get ahold of them.

Secondly, they are slow to notify of results and extremely disorganized. I was sent an older man's MRI results when I should have received my ultrasound results. Who got sent my results, who knows. The worst part was the results carried PHI. I tried to file a complaint but got no response. I doubt the girl even passed the message along to the ombudsman to be honest.

To summarize, Dr. Dickey is great but her office is a lawsuit waiting to happen.

Dr. Dickey is great. Customer service and front desk service can be improved. I waited on hold for almost one hour multiple times, and a number of times my referral was never sent to the specialty doctor. I called to request a referral but when following the phone prompts, I sit and let it ring only to hear a message saying "the subscriber's mailbox is full." Also, I understand COVID precautions, but also having to use my cell phone to call to be let inside is ridiculous. I'm literally outside for 10 minutes just to be let in for my appointment.

Dr. Dickey’s office is horrible, the back office always behind my refills always late because Dr. Forget to filled out diagnostic codes, I sent messages to doctor they say we are behind, honestly they do not put their patients first. I finally moved to another PCP sent medical records request on 10/22 it is 04/23 the office received it 10/22 they have not been sent yet because they are very inefficient. Do not go there!

She's one of the best Dr. My daughter has ever had. She takes her time and listens to your concerns. She is very repsectful and great with children. She looks and treats the cause of the condition not the symptoms. Thank You Dr. Maria Dickey. We love having you as ours Peds MD. Our visits are always pleasant with you. As for the front office experience was also very pleasant on our last visit this year. I see a big difference in front office assistance and back office assistance too. Thank You

I posted a detailed experience and I'm not sure it went through. Basically I had the best urgent care experience of my life. I used to skate so I've unfortunately been to a lot of them. Everything from the receptionist to my provider who helped me was extremely pleasant. There was no judgments (as I often get most places) and they were genuinely trying to help. My provider was Brittany Senff and was so nice and made me feel a lot better about my situation. I'd highly recommend this place. They all were very nice and helpful. Five star experience from me! Edit: I unfortunately had to go another time for something that was pretty embarrassing to me and I had the same experience with a lady (I'm not sure which one). Rendering provider was Brittany Senff. She really is the most compassionate person/medical doctor. I came in embarrassed and in pain and she actually made me feel better about myself and she convinced me that it isn't anything to worry about and it happens to a lot of people which I can't explain how much that meant to me. They also accepted me at 6:30 and they did close at 7:00. I know they probably wanted to go home but they made me feel very welcomed. The lady who I spoke with on the phone was extremely understanding and polite. Brittany also gave me a list of people who I can see about my situation who accepted my insurance (since that wasn't urgent care couldn't provide for me) which was not something all doctors do and helped me out immensely. She completely listened to me with compassion and understanding. If everyone was like her, I'd never have anxiety going in to take care of something. I couldn't speak more highly of her and literally made my day so much better and I'm sooooo grateful for that. Again, I highly recommend this place no matter how "embarrassing" you may feel about what you're going through. Thank you again for the whole team there for making my anxiety basically disappear which is rare for me since I suffer from a ridiculous amount of anxiety with basically all aspects of my life. So going to urgent care is usually a panic attack for me but I was completely relieved after my visit.
