Dr. Mariano "treated" my mother. I believe she was posioned and over medicated. She literally had a duffle bag full of pills that he had prescribed. When consulting with a local pharmacist who was a family friend, we were told that the combinations of medicine she was on would make her go crazy and give seizures. She was in and out of the mental hospital because the of all the psych meds. When she confronted Dr. Mariano about it, he said, "Well, don't take that one then".

Things weren't adding up with him. After further investigating and contacting a lawyer, we asked Dr. Mariano's office for my mother's medical records. We called the office, his wife said that they had been deleted and to not call back. IT IS ILLEGAL TO DELETE MEDICAL RECORDS BY THE WAY.
My mother is doing much better now and has her health back. Praise God. She has gotten off all of those poisons and is living a healthy life. Don't go to Dr. Mariano. He has a CASH ONLY POLICY. It's weird. If you had anything similar happen, please report medical malpractice. Hopefully after multiple reports, someone will do something to hold him and his wife accountable.

Dr. Mariano has been my physician for 15 years. He has diagnosed, with great accuracy, my hypothyroidism, anxiety which was causing me to have poor sleep, and hormone problems due to peri-menopause, etc. I am forever grateful to this genius doctor for his great care, expertise and kind assistance. His office staff is very empathetic and kind. I appreciate them all!

Dr Mariano promised to create a supplement plan and to manage medical prescriptions for my teenage child, even going so far as to take over management of prescriptions that our family doctor had previously handled. Since then, two months have passed without a word; the supplement plan has yet been provided, a prescription has not been refilled even though my child is out of the medicine and it is a medicine that can not be stopped abruptly without negative side effects, and no one answers the phone at the office or returns calls!

When my child first became a patient, the staff answered the phone, but the person representing the office was rude, condescending, and dismissive regarding my child’s questions and concerns. For months now, however, there has been no way to reach the office.

Edit: Right after I posted a negative review on google, interestingly, my phone call to the office was answered (This was my eighth call this week). After she said she would “make a note” about the months-long missing supplement plan and the needed prescription refill, the office rep then threatened me with fraud charges if I did not take down my negative review immediately.
I’ve never experienced such unprofessionalism and negligence as how Dr Mariano and his staff have mishandled my child’s mental and physical health.

I've been a patient of Dr. Mariano ("Dr. M") for close to eight years. The fact that I live in New England and have traveled across the country annually to visit him is testament in and of itself to the extraordinary talent of this physician, commitment he and his practice manager, Paulette, make to their patients, and utmost confidence that I have in them evidenced by leaving my long-term health in their hands.

Like the majority of Dr. M's patients, I was suffering from several chronic medical conditions that went undiagnosed by a long string of "top" endocrinologists and specialists, and went to him after almost all hope had been lost. Visits with these doctors comprised a 10-15 minute "interpretation" of my lab results, which clearly showed that I was in the "normal range" for all key blood test indicators. So how on earth could I not be feeling well, right? I was consistently sent on my way without a plan to address the symptoms I was reporting. What was really going on was that the physicians didn't have the skills or order the right tests to find out what was happening.

On the contrary, Dr. M's tireless drive for getting to the root of problems, evident from the moment I met him, was exactly what I had been searching for. Without prejudice for the path that brought me there, Dr. M knew right away which stones had been left unturned and was able to establish a diagnosis very early that other doctors had blatantly missed.

Dr. M understands that arguably the most important skill to possess in the science/art of practicing medicine is LISTENING, which leads to mutual trust and respect between doctor and patient. Who knows their own body better than the patient? Of equal importance, is an awareness that one's learning occurs after graduation from medical school and residency. It occurs from personal experiences and lifelong study - not from a college course.

Remarkable doctors like Dr. M are extremely hard to find because most doctors preach but rarely put into practice the simple concept that every patient is different and there is nothing etched in stone regarding treatment protocols. Top-notch doctors strive to continously learn, stay up-to-speed on the latest medical research and development, and are equally as passionate about educating their patients as they are themselves. Meet Dr. M! You'd be on a very long mission if you wanted to find a more multidisciplinary physician on the planet.

If you're feeling like you're being treated with cook-book medicine and are not satisfied with your current state of health, it is my sincere pleasure to recommend Dr. M. He and Paulette set the bar for all others in the medical field to be judged against in my opinion, and I have my health to prove it. Like me, I have no doubt that you'll look back on the decision to see him one day and regard it as one of the best you've made in your life.
