I was excited when Marshalls opened in Maryville. I’ve been there a few times and I’ve always found great items. I’ve really had no complaints up until this point.
Today, I went in looking for some last minute Christmas gifts. Right away, I noticed a very young employee walking with someone who appeared to be a manager. I continued shopping while they talked. They were about ten, maybe fifteen feet away from me. Even though I was not actively trying to listen to them (it’s not my business), I could hear most of their conversation. From what I picked up, and from the way the employee left and the “We’ll miss you” from the other employees at the registers, I believe that this employee was fired.
Now, I do not know what this employee did. That’s not my business. Regardless, that conversation should not have happened on the sales floor in front of customers. That is completely unprofessional and humiliating for employees.
The entire experience left a really bad taste in my mouth and it made me not want to shop there anymore. Trendy items at a good price don’t mean anything when this kind of behavior is actively present. Please do better.

Wide variety of products. Sizes go from petite to 3X so everyone can find new stylish clothes and shoes. Have a large selection of smell good candles. Great place to shop for home furnishings even the bathroom

This is by far my favorite store in Maryville. Not only the selection in every department but I cannot appreciate the staff any better. Courteous and even with returns it’s always,”I can help you with that”! Seriously my very favorite store. Thank you!

I went shopping here on black Friday. There were tables set up that had signs on them, $15 & under, $20 &under, ect. On the $20 &under table there were several items, including about a dozen single outdoor cameras for your home. I picked up two to get them for my mother as a Christmas gift. I got up to check out and the camera rang up over $40 each. I told the cashier they were on the $20 & under table and she said she didn't care and wouldn't honor the price. I couldn't afford $40+ so I said I didn't want them. I got the manager, Cecelia, and took her over to see the table. She also was rude and wouldn't honor the price. She removed all the other cameras from the table and walked away from me. I was so disappointed in the service. I do not think my whole family or I will be back.

Today I buy and they have more expensive items than Walmart in terms of fragrances and it seems that they are taking a while to put out the winter clothes and it is a bit expensive in terms of footwear but anyway let's wait.
