I won't even give him one star. He is my mother's primary doctor but he barely has time to see her. Usually, it is the nurse practitioner that sees her. My mother has been having problems with high blood pressure. Today, I called to have my mom seen but they said that the doctor and the nurse practitioner were full and that she had to wait for tomorrow. I went to the office to see if they could at least check her blood pressure and they refused to do so because the doctor couldn't see her, I explained that I didn't need the doctor to see her just to have the nurse check her blood pressure they refused to do so. They told me to go to urgent care. I don't understand why they couldn't take 1 minute to check her blood pressure instead of sending her to urgent care if she was already at the office. You can see that they are not for the patient they are only for the money. For me that is bad practice, God forbid something had happened to my mom because of their negligence.

I have been a patient for many years and I think Dr Devine is a spectacular doctor but his business office is not.

They have changed insurance plans at least three times in the past 7 years.

Today, 6/11/2024 as I was driving from Cape Cod to my appointment in Charlton, I received a call from the office that they no longer take my insurance and cancelled my appointment.

I called my wife who immediately called to confirm I had the correct insurance. I did, the office said I had Wellsense but I actually had Tuffs (which is what they take)

Since there is no direct line to the office, you have to call the general number and hope you get a call back on the same day, if at all.

These issues have been ongoing for years and seem to be getting worse.

Patients are under enough stress as it is already - we really do not want to go to the Doctors. But to be treated with such little respect and concern for are well-being and just leave us without any option but CANCELLED is not acceptable.

Calling the day of an appointment, just 2 hours before arrival after this patient made arrangements to go to this appointment and screwed up my whole day proves to me

Although I've only had a single visit with Dr Devine to date, I am extremely impressed! He is professional, prompt, concerned and really down to earth, as were the rest of his staff (Michelle, NP)! If there was more room, I could write a book praising my first experience there! I'm feeling very content knowing he will be providing me with top notch health Care moving forward

My first visit to Dr. Devine was with his NP Stacy Pominiville. She was okay but the person who checked me in was being trained. The trainer was completely focused on the trainee and I felt completely invisible. I was disappointed since ir was my very first visit that it wasn’t friendlier and more welcoming.
Recently, I needed two vaccines to travel overseas. My insurance company told me that I needed a referral from my primary to the travel clinic. I ended up spending two days and about three hours on the phone trying to get my referral. I was under a time restraint because I needed the vaccines to get my visa. Dr. Devine’s office sent the referral to the wrong travel clinic even after I spoke to the assistants there three times. It took me about 15 phone calls and a lot of frustration to discover that they did not send the referral to the correct place. If I had not kept enquiring and following up then I never would have gotten my referral to the correct travel clinic. It shouldn’t be this hard to get a referral. One or two phone calls but not 15.

From the moment I walk in to my actual checkup taking place, I feel comfortable and at home here. I say this because the receptionists are so kind and take the time to make sure you get a appointment on the day of your health issue(s). Also Michelle, Stacey and Dr.Devine are so professional , calming and down to earth(same for the other staff) and take care of you and your issues from the moment you walk in all the way to getting your needed tests, etc. Thankyou and keep doing what you all are doing!

Dr Devine is a stand up guy and awsome. But the only bad thing is when they switched to a call center impossible to get in contact with him. And he would always call me right away
