I disagree with one of the previous reviewers who said that the lab was not top notch. I have stage 5 kidney disease and are in and out of the hospital and going to countless medical appointments. Consequently I get my blood drawn 3-5 times a week. I always try to get my labs done at MGBH Danvers whenever possible because they are so professional and skilled.
Many places I go it takes a nurse several attempts to take my blood. In the hospital I had 3 IVs simultaneously. I am what is known as a "tough stick". The nurses at the lab in Danvers have ALWAYS got me the first time or maybe once in a while the second. I can't emphasize enough how good at their job they are. In particular, on march 28 at 4:15 pm, I was overwhelmed by their kindness and professionalism. My arm was bruised and over stuck from the hospital. I had just come from dialysis which notoriously makes blood draw difficult. I also had orders from about 3 different doctors. One I needed for an appointment Tuesday. I expected to just get one set of orders done and come back for others. Not only did the person doing my bloodwork find a vein on the first attempt, she was kind enough to do all 3 sets of orders. One of her coworkers assisted and their teamwork was inspirational. Honestly maybe someone had a bad day when that other reviewer went. I just say that because I have a lot of data to go on, and I won't standby and accept that. The care I have gotten over years is extraordinary, far more professional than any other lab I've used, and the vibes in the lab are overwhelmingly positive. Every time I'm in there it's apparent they are superb at their job and also just kind people. They deserve to be recognized for the service and positivity they provide.

I have had outpatient surgery, cardiac care, and Urgent Care there …. Very good experience and outcomes. Only criticism is blood draw area; competency of techs is inconsistent….a few are very good but lately not so much. I probably will start using a different lab even though this one is somewhat convenient.

Absolutely love this place. My doctor was on maternity leave and was time for my annual exam. I chose to see nurse practioner Jennifer Hayes. She was fabulous and had such a wonderful bed side manner. I highly recommend! I have never had a long wait to be seen.

I've had numerous occasions to visit Mass General Brigham Healthcare Center in Danvers, and whenever possible, I prefer to schedule my appointments here instead of Salem, MA. I've seen various specialists at this facility, including an ophthalmologist, a gastroenterologist for two colonoscopies, a dermatologist, and an ear, nose, and throat doctor. I have never left this facility feeling disappointed or saying I wouldn't return. The staff members are incredibly friendly, and the doctors are highly skilled and professional. I've never felt rushed during my appointments or concerned about the facility being overcrowded. While I'm hesitant to praise this place too much, as I'd like to keep it my little secret, I can't help but express my satisfaction and positive experience. I genuinely can't say enough nice things about Mass General Brigham Healthcare Center (Danvers).

Fine experience with my nurse… I called ahead of time and got told walk in only I couldn’t make an appointment- and when I got there I got asked if I had made an appointment…. Because they don’t have one available until 2:30 as she also suggested to make sure I make an appointment next time… (it was 1:50, fine…) but that was weird….. online also says walk ins welcome…

Child got blood drawn after an appointment with pediatric rheumatologist . The person drawing blood (Siobhan maybe) is exceptionally friendly, kind, reassuring, and professional. Was able to drop blood first try with no pain (Last time my child had blood drawn at a different location. It took three tries was very painful and my child ended up bruised). Not only did she do a great job, they put my child at ease. this location is about about a half an hour from my house, but I would make the trip to this lab if we need a blood drawn again because it was as wonderful an experience as a blood draw could be.

The receptionist on Saturday 08/10 was so unpleasant. I felt as if I was bothering her. I had called earlier in the day and was told it was walk-in only. She told me that was not true and basically said I was lying. She couldn’t accommodate myself and my 2 children so I left. Don’t plan on going again ever.

Brought my 1.5 year old for outpatient surgical procedure. Staff and Nurses very sweet and accommodating, my baby fell in love with his pre-post procedure Nurses. They bring one parent into OR to comfort their child until they are asleep and then we waited in the waiting room for the procedure to finish and him to wake up. Procedure was very quick and Dr. Came and updated us, not a long wait to see him after.
