Dr. Vemuri misdiagnosed me, and failed to show up to scheduled telehealth appointments on two occasions. She then told me that she wanted to “turn the case over to my primary care physician”…which I would not have sought out a specialist if I was getting the treatment I needed from my primary care physician. So if Dr. Vemuri deems you to not be worth her time, she’ll just dump you as a patient. She refused to renew my medication and medical orders because she didn’t want me as a patient. Please seek treatment from a psychiatrist that actually knows what they are doing.

I am stunned at how unprofessional this office is. I had my daughter scheduled to see a counselor but due to starting a new job at the time I could not keep the appointment. So I reached out to have it rescheduled and then had a wait a month for the appointment. Well due to my job I needed to see if they had an appointment later in the day or the following week when I could take her to an appointment. They told me because this would be the second time rescheduling that they will not see her and I have to find a different counselor for her. She was never even seen at this office. I wasted 2 months waiting for her to be seen by this counselor and now I'm back at square one to get her mental health help. Very upsetting! I will be also finding her and I a new psychiatrist since she is at this same office. I no longer want to have our mental health treated by people who clearly don't really care about people or patients trying to get help.

I have been seeing Dr. Merritt for over 20 years. She is the best. She is always available if u need her. I feel very comfortable with her. I love talking to her

Dr Merritt is so wonderful!
I know she only recently came to the practice, but we have such shorter wait times for our appointments, and the facilities are so nice compared to the old location.

Dr Merritt has worked with me and my kids to find the right medications for each of our unique conditions and history over the past years and it continues at the new location, only with better scheduling and office facilities. I would recommend her without hesitation.

Just wow. You would think that a therapist would be understanding but they're judgemental and rude. I missed a couple of appointments due to my children being sick and they dropped me because of it. It's so hard to find help and mental health is so important. I guess they don't agree. I would never recommend their services to anyone.

Dr V is a very rude, cold, woman who doesn't care. We didn't see many signs of intelligence from her. Shouldn't be allowed to dispense meds. Irresponsible. When you question her quick decisions she puts you down with her ego. Office staff and processes are non existent. Shut this assembly line down, they don't have time to care for anyone. Luckily our daughter has had amazing results with pediatric behavioral health in West Boylston.

If you want to improve your life and avoid being made to feel everything is your fault avoid Dr. Vermuri at all costs. She made my wife's life hell and only contributed to her mental health decline. She should have her licensed revoked. Heed this warning.

Dr. Vemuri is a prime example of why the mental health system is broken. I have called and left a voicemail once(sometimes twice) per month since December 2018, requesting a refill for my anxiety medication, and she has not refilled it, nor even called me back to set up an appointment or explain why she hasn't refilled it.

Doctors like her, are the reason people give up on life or turn to street drugs (luckily I haven't become a statistic of either of those), because she is supposed to help people who are fighting depression, anxiety, and other mental health problems. But instead, she could care less.

I would never recommend this doctor to anybody.
