I've been struggling to find relief from months of grief, stress, and declining health and felt I'd tried everything...until the glory that be Google popped Matiz Wellness & practitioner Edilma up on my screen. Having only tried Reiki once before I thought why not? Tried everything else and REALLY want to be back to the "old me."

Stepping into their beautiful, peaceful center, I immediately knew I'd have a good experience & meeting Edilma I knew it would be special, but no words can express the many ways I felt transformed after her No Ceiling Healing session.

I literally felt and saw healing and release within my body during the entire 1.5 hours and walked out with a true smile, peace, and happy tears welling in my eyes. Edilma asked no questions of my problems/pains, which I loved, she simply did what she was obviously born to do, heal others. Beyond her hands (gentle, powerful, warm conductors of love, healing, and relief) everything in the room and used was wonderful - music you can feel in your body, scents, soft blanket, some tuning instrument, and sound bowls.

For anyone unfamiliar or a bit skeptical of Reiki, physical evidence (other than my breakthrough relief from mental and physical pain!) is that I had woken up that morning with a bright red blood spot on my eye, which can take 1-2 weeks to heal. By the time I left it was 50% better, by next day almost gone. My Fitbit also showed me sleeping the entire time, which I was not =) A deep meditative healing state is the closest I can get to explaining it (& I consider myself a horrible mediator!) I now feel Rieke provides you with the ability to continue to heal yourself.

I know everything is energy/frequency, we are complex humans with so much more beyond what we can see, but how much it impacts us is incredible. Her session has proven to me how important taking care of the WHOLE self is for healing. I HIGHLY recommend giving Edilma's Reiki a try! You may receive the breakthrough to getting back to you like I did. Obviously I will be back =)!

What a gem! I recently discovered Matiz and was able to receive body work by Edilma. She is pure magic. I have never felt so free in this spirited body of mine. I followed up my session with a grounding sound bath and it was the most beautiful way to bring closure to my past healing and to hold space for future joy. No one has an assigned plan of care, as every time you enter, you needs are addressed via Intuition and Divine Guidance. A prescribed medication I took for many years had become a vicious cycle in my head and body, I was treated by Edilma initially. As I lived out of town at the time, I had to return six months later to express my gratitude to her and again, another completely unique treatment. This place is so special and I feel so lucky to have found it. My husband and I began coming here a few years ago for massages with Andrea and Edilma who are truly amazing. They are so intuitive, knowing exactly what to do to work out the kinks and knots and get the circulation and energy flowing in all the blocked areas. I recently began attending their sound bath meditations which are phenomenal. Alfonso and Edilma provide a full on sensory experience, unlike anything I've ever encountered before.
