The nursing staff were professional and personable. There was a snafu with my IV and they were quick to fix it with plenty of staff on hand to assist. My procedure went smoothly. All questioned answered and everything was explained well. No complaints with any part of the process!

Checking in was good, preparing me for the procedure was good, the actual procedure and the people that did the procedures were fantastic.
The issue I had was waiting two and a half hours for my procedure. The doctor told me that some how two other people had been taken before me. That caused me to have to sit there for 2.5 hours waiting for my procedure which only took twenty minutes. So I had to be there at 9:50 am and then forced to sit around and wait. The “Time-management” part of this procedure was horrible. Whoever is responsible for the scheduling process failed in their responsibilities.

Every employee had a smile & they were very courteous. I had an appointment with Imaging. The tech in training was amazingly friendly, polite & courteous. Everyone I dealt with was outstanding. I’m so thankful for them all!!! I would, absolutely with no hesitation refer my family & friends to Mat-Su Regional Medical Center.

I had outpatient surgery on Friday. The whole process went very smoothly. The admin staff was polite and efficient at helping me with insurance. The nursing staff and the anesthesiologist were informative and friendly. Dr. South and her nurse stayed right by me as I fell asleep and truly the last thing I remember are their reassuring words. Recovery was very smooth again. The nurses were friendly and very efficient. I didn’t feel rushed, but at the same time they didn’t work to keep me there needlessly. as far as surgery goes, I would say this was a very good experience.

The ER staff were outstanding and worked quickly and efficiently to stabilize me. Thank you so much. So grateful for day and night nurses And Doctors! So thankful for records staff who were prompt to put my records in my hand to carry with me to put in my doc's hands for stat follow up appt when we got back to my city.
We had come down for the Fair. Yes, the food is good too.

This is Chadwick, formerly of room 325. My time there for an emergency surgery was amazing. Every staff, from surgeons to the nursing staff, were amazing and made great efforts to tending to me post surgery. It made me feel actually cared for. It was the best hospital experience I've had so far.

The midweek waiting time was acceptable for the hour. Dr. Frankland met me for the first time as we were passing through in our RV from California. His immediate attention was focused on my descriptions of my symptoms. We talked through options for medications deciding on what was best for me. He was still uncertain of what was going on so he recommended a chest X-ray at a local hospital. Saying he would contact me later that day as soon as he received the results. Which surprising he actually did! Knowing he cared enough to suggest the X-ray, not only is testament to his profession. But also gave me relief and peace of mind that there was nothing else discovered in the X-ray. At 69 years old, Its been a long time since I've been the complete focus of any doctors attention. I'm feeling much better now and can continue our exploration of your wonderful state of Alaska. Thanks Doc!

I went to to the ER two weeks ago, only waited a short time for someone to see me, I'm used to waiting for hours on end in Seattle. They got all of my tests done very promptly and professionally. Found out I needed surgery, called the surgeon at home to discuss my needs! I go in for my surgery tomorrow, and I'm hoping the experience is just as great.
