All the staff are so AMAZING! Never had a better experience at any other doctors office in my 30 years of life. I had all my questions and concerns addressed with so much care. I got everything I needed done all in one appointment which is great for a busy mom like myself or someone who has a busy work schedule. I highly recommend coming here for great womens health care in the MatSu area!

So far, our experience with Dr. South and staff has been very positive. As first-time parents, my wife and I were hoping to get a doctor and team who has a lot of patience with our questions and concerns, and we got that here. My wife is very comfortable with Dr. South and we both feel at ease knowing she's our doctor with our first child.

Dr. South is the best doctor ever! I was so thankful to have her through my pregnancy journey. What could've been a very scary delivery was made so much better with her. We had to have an emergency c-section but I'm very grateful for her quick thinking and good judgment. Her staff is also so sweet and helpful. I highly recommend Women's Health Specialists!

Dr. South is obviously nice, I just wish the clinic offered more grace. Unfortunatley I was 13 minutes late to my appointment hauling my two toddlers along. The late policy states “they may ask to reschuedule if your ten minutes late to the appointment”. I understand this is my fault, I just want other regular moms to know who might be ten minutes behind to literally everything, don’t bring your kids and arrive 30 minutes early to be on the safe side. The next available appointment wasn’t until 3 months later. I made this appointment for July back in April, healthcare providers in the valley area are so overbooked, don’t make the same mistake I did! I set up an appointment in Anchorage that was able to see me sooner and has a 15 minute grace period.

Dr Christy South is the best doctor I've ever had in my nearly 50 years of life. She actually listens to her patients. Her staff is super friendly. Would definitely recommend my own family members to her, if they were here. I couldn't ask for a better surgeon!!! I love the 2 surgeries this doctor has given me. Super smooth heeling process. I love you all matsu women's health. Thank you all for being the wonderful people that you are.

Went in once for a first prenatal care. Was told that what we paid upfront would be the only payment for that visit. Nothing was signed nor discussed there could be further bills from the visit. A few weeks later got hit by a surprise $2000 bill which was again, never discussed or even hinted would happen during the appointment. After Medicaid finally got around to doing renewals, we where told that it had been covered by Medicaid. However, now, months later, with 0 communication after that, their billing department is trying to claim it's not paid. However, nobody seems to have any record of the bill, and all evidence of the first appointment has been removed from the patient portal.

I alwayd trusted Dr.Souths office in my meidcal procedures but after going in this last time for my pregnancy and getting told my hcg was 10,000 points less than it was actually was and asking if i wanted to surgically remove my pregnancy or wait for a miscarriage was heart breaking for me. But what hurt the most after finding out i wasnt going to miscarriage was calling the office to talk to them about it and there was no apology or ownership that they messed up reading my levels. All i got was "we will send your records once we get and ROI" there was no im so sorry about this mix up or nothing. If i followed the staff and not my gut they could have removed a perfectly healthy pregnancy. I hope if anyone else gets told by Dr. Souths office that their pregnancy is a failed one please get a second opinion since i told that and i dont have a failed pregnancy there was an office error and they wont own up to it.
