I have a 19 yr old son with multiple medical issues. He needs total care and we have had a maxim nurse attend to him for over 10 years. Our nurses, (3) have become more like family and have given my son more than just the medical care he needs. They have attended school with him and that has put my mind at ease knowing I have someone with him who truly cares about his well being like his mama does when he is not in my eye sight. I’ve never had an issue with Maxim and recommend the agency for anyone who is looking for a home health nurse to care for their loved one.

It’s going on fifteen years that Maxim Healthcare Services Pomona has been a blessing for my son Giovanni and family. The office staff have been wonderful to work with. My experience with John my son’s Recruiter, Amanda the Head Nurse, Espie in Finance to Grant the Office Manager have been great, they are pleasant, professional, understanding and very helpful.
The nurses Cyndi and Sandra who have cared for Giovanni are beautiful angels. It was rare that we came across these two loving, compassionate and thoughtful wonderful nurses. They brighten Giovanni’s day every day. They have made a difference in his life as well as my families. They are so kind, understanding, helpful and do an amazing job. I’m grateful for them granting my son the best nursing care he has ever experienced. They go above and beyond to provide care for my son and make him feel comfortable and loved. They provide skilled nursing care from helping start the day and end the day, companionship, preparing meals and feeding, assistance safe bathing, dressing and clothing suggestions, to stand-by assistance with walking and transfers. Performing light housekeeping and entertaining with games, crafts, reading and homework. Escorting to appointments and social events and making him smile, all these brings a gratifying warm feeling to my heart. I have confidence and trust having Cyndi and Sandra care for my son. Thank you.

I worked here for a long time.

The office has some of the worst communication with their BT's & Families. Families often mention they don't like communicating through the office due to rudeness, lack of follow through, and poor communication.

You as a BT need to repeatedly ask for clients, coverage, and fight for compensation when you've been canceled on at the door.

You're a BT and you get canceled on at the door? Guess what 😀 ....
You're forced to either go home with no pay (even though you drove the whole way there) or accept a reroute to another random client that can be an hour away or you might have to wait around for 2hrs till that session starts!

Tell me how it's fair that a BT won't be compensated if they say no to a reroute that is too far in distance or starts too late time wise. Oh right, it's not fair but they'll do it anyways so you don't get paid 😊

Do you want to be reimbursed for mileage?
Cool! You'll just have to take the easy simple steps of filling out an unnecessarily tedious paper about your mileage and mail it EVERY week 😍 ... They clearly do this to unmotivate their employee and it works!! Omg congratulations Maxim!

Are you a BT interested in having a work outing with fellow coworkers? Awesome! Just know it never happens and if it does it's out of pocket because the office ONLY funds their own parties 🫶🏻!

Do you want toys for your clients? Too bad. Most employees buy out of pocket 🥰

This place will give you some low ball rate in hopes you don't notice or question it 😍😊!

Do you want your schedule to always be incorrect, not fixed in a timely matter, or sometimes not work at all 😍🥰!! Then you've found the right place my friend

They'll also fail to give you your yearly raise!! 🫶🏻😍! You'll have to hound them about that and then even still they may not respond 🥰

I don't often write reviews but Maxim is such an outstanding company and I must give credit where credit is due. They provided excellent care for my daughter for a little over a month now. John, the office recruiter, is very professional, efficient, and prompt to respond to my phone calls or emails. I can tell from their structure that Maxim is an organized company, which is much needed when it comes to home care. They are also a people-oriented company which is like jewels in any industry in today’s day and age. All of their employees are cheerful, skilled, and conscientious accommodating. Yennie and Manuela are our nurses and they have been the most helpful, caring and accommodating to my daughter and our family. The life before and after their help is like night and day. I can’t be more appreciated of Maxim’s assistance in the journey of caring my daughter. I highly recommend Maxim’s service.

Manager Grant is the Heart of this Health care Provider Team. I've been with this team for over 23 years. They were located in West Covina and moved to a new location in Pomona, CA. Grant is a professional when it comes to managing this office. He makes sure his employees get the training they need to provide great service to there clients. No agency is perfect and he definitely works out the flaws to perfect quality service.

Our 24 year old daughter has been receiving nursing care from Maxim for about 20 years. The long term nurses have become like family and they take very good care of her. Also the office personnel are friendly and helpful.
