I went there to inquire about a mobility scooter for my disabled wife. There were no other customers in the store. The employee standing at the counter looked at me blankly but did not ask if I needed help or even say hello.
I explained my purpose, but she still gave me the impression that she wasn't really interested in what I was saying. I left and certainly will not shop there again.

I ditto what Dennis wrote 4 days ago. Disinterested employee who looked like she hates her job,, very small selection, unclear return policy, and when I got home with the item I purchased, I discovered it was broken. I returned to the store and the same disinterested employee looked at me like I had two heads, then looked at the manager and said nothing, but apparently mentally telling her she didn't know what to do. A woman who appeared to be a manager went to fetch a replacement device, only to discover that one, on their shelf, was broken also. Now that I know there are other medical supply stores in Huntsville, I definitely will not be back to this one.

So I saw all the bad reviews but I thought I'd give this place a chance since I only needed a cane. They did not fail to disappoint, as if poor service is their goal. When I presented my prescription for the cane the employee proceeds to tell me it looks like I'm getting around well enough, in a disparaging tone, judging me because I walked in without the use of the cane. I'm 6'3 so I needed a cane that was tall enough for me, however this employee seized upon the opportunity to make more than one remark about the cane in relation to my weight. As if still unconvinced about my need for assistance, the employee had the gall to ask "well what's wrong with you". Never before has an medical establishment been so unprofessional and deserving of a poor review. There are other Medical supply stores in the same vicinity...do yourself a favor and go anywhere else.

Shady as they get - I bought a lift chair, it was supposed to have a lifetime warranty. It malfunctioned 13 months later, and it turns out the warranty is not lifetime, it is limited, and may not cover what is wrong. I had the warranty pamphlet and they were arguing with me reading the pamphlet verbatim to them. In order to get them, as a factory authorized company to work on the chair (because Pride/Viva lift only works with factory authorized repair shops), they wanted my credit card number and wanted me to pay them $100 to have them pickup and deliver the malfunctioning chair from my home to their shop in Decatur. I told them I would take the chair to the shop to save the $100 and then they said they would instead charge me $100 for a "diagnostic fee" even if the fix was fully covered under warranty. Total shakedown. I refused them, told them they were out of line, and hung up. There is no telling how much I would have been charged if they had actually worked on my chair, because they would have had my credit card number. I still have the non functioning chair, but will throw it on the curb before I ever have them work on it. Do not go to this store.

A big shout out to Jasmine. She helped my mother get a new walker. She reached out to me and made the process very easy.
I appreciate her kindness and attention to my mother.
She is a great employee.

The moment I walked in the door, I was met with the most disgusting attitude saying "we close in uh 1 minunte uh actually 30 seconds". I immediately turned around and left. It was only going to take 30 seconds to ask my question and for them to answer it. The way they spoke to me made me feel terrible.

Called to get the paperwork started to purchase a power scooter because I have very limited mobility due to a failed knee replacement and so my only option was total knee fusion because after having 6 back after back surgeries to fix the total my only option from that point was to have the knee fused or amputated. I opted to have it fused which left me without a knee. So me getting around was very limited with my walker which brought great pain with it. So working with my doctor and my caseworker manager from my insurance company started working together and doing the paperwork to get me a power scooter to help me get around more independently. After two weeks of doing what I had to do on my part, not including having to call very often to see if all my paperwork was turned in. I hear nothing from them so I decided to call one last time to see where we’re at being it’s two weeks now. They put me through to the person who handles these type cases. She comes on and so oh, your insurance denied you because they say it is not a necessity for you. So something tells me to call my caseworker nurse manager who knows everything about my situation and who has the authority to get me approved for whatever I need for my medical necessity. She calls me back within 24hrs and says nothing has come across her desk yet for her to get me approved. So the company, McAbee Medical lied about sending my work to my insurance company for my approval of the mobile scooter. My caseworker nurse manager was waiting for it to come to her desk. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. They don’t call to follow up, they lied, and you have to do all the leg work. Very displeased with this company.
