Everyone was so so kind from the front desk, to the technicians, and NP Hirsig.
It was my first visit with a doctor as an adult and I was so nervous. Everyone made me feel comfortable and explained everything to me one step at a time.
NP Hirsig was nothing but kind and really put me at ease with all of my worries. I would highly recommend seeing her.
Thank you Bayview staff for the wonderful first experience I am happy to come back 🙂

Katrina Hirsig belittled me, blamed me, and flip-flopped her explanations and reasoning regarding my care. She said labs a specialist ordered for me "tell us nothing," despite my specialist recognizing a connection between symptoms, family history, and labs, and suggesting follow up. She did not return phone calls for over 10 days and instead made notes in my chart that I "refused care" when in fact she did not offer me care. So, I made an appointment in order to discuss my care, but Katrina did not come out of her office to see me during my appointment.

I made a second appointment which she implied was unnecessary, repeatedly asking if I wanted to keep it (Yes, that's why I made it.). When I attended this meeting she condescendingly said she would, "Go over my labs with me again," when she had never discussed them with me. She told me it was my fault she didn't see the labs in the system (because of the lab I chose to go to).I could go on and on, but the reviews here already speak volumes--believe them all.

Avoid this office at all costs! (Ariel in the office is great though, too bad she has such a toxic work environment.)

I rarely leave critical reviews but the NP Katrina Hirsig was so unprofessional, rude and unhelpful that I would hate for any other person to have such a horrible medical experience as I did. I have been dealing with chronic pain in my back, neck, and shoulders that would not go away for months. I have a well documented history of stress-related burn out and chronic fatigue from this. My first appointment she told me that it was likely due to a cold I'd had several weeks before. She refused to run tests/blood work of any kind. The second visit a month later she had the new idea that the pain was because I was overweight. Even thought I tried to explain that the pain happened long after I'd gained weight from chronic stress and fatigue, she continued to insist that all my pain was due to my weight. She then forced me to explain what had caused me to gain weight and insisted that I, a person with chronic pain and fatigue, needed to start working out to lose it. She again ran no tests or blood work. I have never left an appointment in tears like that. I understand that weight and pain can be related, but to run no blood work and not even consider other diagnoses felt so belittling. I feel so fortunate that acupuncture and massage therapy were helpful for the pain. If I had had to rely solely on Katrina Hirsig's poor medical practice, I would likely still be experiencing debilitating pain all over my body.

Katrina Hirsig is the most arrogant, condescending and negligent practitioner I have ever had the misfortune of working with. She has a God complex with zero regard for her patients’ health.
I wanted routine bloodwork for my personal records and she flat out refused my request, all while making you feel that you are stupid just for asking and that she’s wasting her time even talking to you. People have quite literally died from this kind of practice, and it’s deeply concerning that she is even allowed to practice medicine.
Not to mention in a separate appointment, in which I went only for a referral, she berated me about not getting the C19 vaccine while I was obviously pregnant(with it being known to significantly increase miscarriage/stillbirth rates).

She is an awful practitioner and should be let go from this office. Do NOT recommend.

Brought my husband for a follow-up appointment after discharge 2 days ago from a Dignity facility. The appointment was made for us. They wouldn't let me in the room with him (even thought we both asked - he's still not completely cognizant after this illness). When they let me in the room, the Nurse Practitioner, Katrina Herzig, asked for hospital records. I asked if they had them since he just came from a Dignity facility. She said they would contact his primary care physician for an appointment. My husband asked her to look at his leg (which is why he was in the original hospital and Dignity Care rehab facility). She told us to take him to the emergency room. She never even looked at it. It was a complete waste of time. We got home and my husband commented that it "was the worst he has ever been treated by a doctor". We have several Dignity doctors who are professional, thorough and kind. This isn't one of them.

Katrina Hirsig is mercurial and frankly dangerous. She put things in my charts that she did not do, an example being she said she conducted a physical exam and that my lungs sounded clear when she didn't put a stethoscope up to me! It's fine if you don't want to do an exam but please don't lie about it. I confronted her on this and many other discrepancies in her notes. She became visibly nervous while I tried to calm he down. I told her that we were on the same team, etc. But when she heard me say things that she didn't want to hear all of a sudden she felt "threatened." I am not a threatening man, I'm known for being a soft touch. She marched me out of the office and fired me as a patient because she couldn't handle genuine feedback on issues that needed to be addressed. Please for your sake avoid her.

Always look forward to seeing Dr. T and his team. Kind and gentle, no hurt dentist. Facility is always clean and sanitized. Office personnel very professional. His assistants are kind and accommodating. Very good experience.

Every single person at this location is excellent. I’ve never had a better a experience and got more help. The doctor, nurse practitioner, assistants and the amazing lady who works the front desk are second to none. Thank you girls for being awesome 🙂
