let me preface this by saying I adore Lisa Nolan and her care she provides my son. but medina healthcare system is a different beast. I have sat on the phone for HOURS multiple times for the past two months attempting to schedule my sons one year appt. each time my position in que barely moves even after waiting my "Estimated wait time" like requested.
my husband went up to the office today to see if we can schedule our son his 1st year appt and we were told we have to use the phone to schedule. when my husband explained that we have been trying to do that for months, he was told the only way we were gonna even get an appt was to call at 7am. This is not only ridiculous but frustrating as a new mom just trying to do her best for her baby.

so if you're looking for a reliable doctor who is caring and informative I would love to recommend Lisa if only she didn't work for medina healthcare systems. with them you are only going to sit on the phone for hours hoping to get an appt.

Saw Dr McGhee on 5 May to get an updated DME order put in. Been waiting over two months for them to fax an order to the DME supplier. I’ve called several times and been told that they messaged her staff. Absolutely UNSAT!! Insurance and I paid you for my visit yet you can’t do your job and send the order in. I will be filing a complaint with my insurance provider and absolutely do not recommend the Medical Clinic of Castroville.

Absolutely loved our PA today Miss Tabatha. This was our first time with her, but we’ve been patients of this clinic for many years. She listened to ALL of my concerns and addressed each one. She even entertained my chatty son’s discussion of all things sports related! She really made us feel like we were important patients to her.
Also love Miss Lisa Nolan. Can’t say enough good things about her.
Dr Hayes is my doctor and I will always recommend him! Some days I can’t get the kids into see him, and the lovely staff comes through just like today.

I'd give the Dr Hays 5 stars he is an excellent doctor. Unfortunately the front desk people aren't the greatest with there customer service skills. They have to ask me every time what insurance I have and they gave me a referral to a doctor that was not covered under my insurance. Wait time is long even though I have appointments I usually wait longer than an hour to be seen sometime a total of 2 hours all together before I'm out the door.

Good luck getting calls back. I’ve been waiting for a referral for over 2 weeks now. I’ve been calling and leaving messages with Alex. Ms. Dominguez is my provider. She’s very nice but can’t seem to get anything done without multiple calls. It’s not worth it when you well being is on the line.
