Dr McKiernan and her assistant Sara are wonderful. They listen and care! Dr McKiernan offers many modalities or possible solutions for treatment. It's rare to find a doctor that takes time to seek best solutions for pain. The entire staff is also very kind and helpful. Highly recommended! 🙏👍

The only reason that Dr. McKernan gets a star is because it’s needed to leave a review. I waited four months for my appointment to establish a new doctor. I arrived on time at 9 AM. I was seen immediately by the intake, physicians assistant for blood pressure. Dr. McKernon walked into the room 50 minutes later with no other contact during the time I was waiting. She walked in anxiously gave a disingenuous, apology and asked how I was doing, when I said not so good and that it was unreasonable I should wait almost an hour without any contact, she became indignant. Her comments to me were “you came to see me I didn’t come to see you” she then offered that I should’ve come earlier in the day or later in the afternoon, meaning if I want to be seen on time. She claims she listens to her patients, this was in reference to why she was late. I was her 9 o’clock. How many patients could she have seen before me? I suggested that she make appointments every two hours, If she’s going to be late like this. Two times during this brief conversation I had to tell her to drop her voice as she was becoming increasingly agitated and confrontational, she was acting very anxious Lee, which she self admitted,. I never used foul language or raised my voice. She suggested I complete the visit. I reminded her that I waited four months to be seen by her to establish new contact and that there was no way that I would continue to see her after her insults. I let her know that I would be filing grievances with my healthcare provider as well as dignity health at the highest levels. I have done this, and they are beginning their investigation into this matter. I haven’t written a complaint about anyone in 25 years. In fact, I go out of my way to to find reasons to complement people who provide any type of service. If she could’ve simply, and genuinely apologized or had stepped into the office, at least halfway through the time I was there, or asked somebody else to come in and say, the doctor knows you’re here she’s being held up she’ll be right with you, that would’ve made all the difference. She was definitely spun out from the very beginning, I can be understanding of somebody having a bad day, but her opening comments were so rude, unprofessional and unethical for a physician with a big corporation like Dignity.

Worst doctor I've ever encountered, was arrogant, lacked empathy, wouldn't listen, would not answer simple questions, hostile attitude.
Would recommend no one, NO ONE use this doctor. I no longer do!
