I was so fortunate to find Dr. Melissa Gutierrez last year. Good Dr's are really hard to find these days but she's an amazing one. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and looks for ways to help you and make you comfortable. I never feel rushed or like I am just another number on her books. Every interaction I've had with her and her team has been a very pleasant one and they have all made me feel good after each visit. Thank you Dr. Gutierrez!

Subject: Serious Complaint Regarding Unprofessional Behavior at CVS

Dear CVS Management,

I am writing to formally complain about an unacceptable experience I had at your [store location] when I attempted to return an expired cream and exchange it for a suitable replacement.

Upon approaching the employee for assistance, I was shocked to find that she was preoccupied with a video call with her husband rather than doing her job. Instead of helping me find a replacement, she dismissively told me to go to another CVS location. When I politely insisted that she assist me as a customer, she shockingly turned the video call towards me, showing me to her husband, and asked him to come to the store. It was as if they were treating this situation like a personal matter rather than a professional responsibility.

To make matters worse, her husband, through the call, threatened me and told me never to return to this CVS location. I informed them that I would be filing a complaint, and as soon as I attempted to document the situation, both employees—Lisa and Maria—disappeared from the store.

I want to commend the cashiers present at the time, as they appeared just as bewildered by this behavior as I was. However, the conduct of Lisa and Maria was completely unprofessional and damaging to the reputation of CVS as a trusted service provider.

I urge CVS management to investigate this incident seriously. Customers should never be treated this way, and employees who prioritize personal calls over their responsibilities should be held accountable.

Dr. Gutierrez is very efficient and straight forward while being compassionate towa4ds me. Just what I needed to strive and push to take care of myself better. She always ensures that I get to referred to the appropriate specialties for my health issues and goes beyond to help me get better. I recommended her to my sons who are very keen on expertise and efficiency.

Very disorganized and very negligent. I came here for some blood work, arrived 15-20 minutes in advance, and completed the pre-visit check in before hand. When I arrived, there were 4 other people waiting for bloodwork as well. Apparently, they did not schedule a phlebotomist who knew how to process the lab tests/results. I believe his name was Julio. He knew how to draw blood but not process the information. This caused a delay. This could be a serious issue as well. Meaning that the results I get, can be incorrect because he is not experienced in processing the results,etc.

You would think Memorial Care would have schedule someone who was competent enough to read the results and not be so negligent in scheduling patients, especially knowing that some of us waited weeks for an appointment. I, myself, waited over 3 weeks. I also waited over 40minutes during my time there just for them to communicate that they couldn’t draw my blood.

They put a new staff member to operate the desk with no formal supervision or management on the floor, the receptionist was named Leslie. When communicating with the staff members, they gave me conflicting messages. I don’t blame them. I blame management. The manager is named Christie. She should have known better than to schedule phlebotomist with no experience to read the results or follow through on the process.

I’m very disappointed with the service and the staff not communicating with me first. I would’ve been alright and would have happily rescheduled if they couldve communicated. We had to over hear everything and ask questions to figure out what was going on. I’m not the only patient who raised this issue.

Anyways, I was worried my results won’t be accurate so now I need to schedule another appointment which may take another couple weeks. This is my first time here and I chose this location based on the reviews. I’m questioning the integrity of those reviews. Will escalate this further if necessary

As soon as I walked in the front desk (3 of them) all greeted me with a warm welcome. That is always good to hear. Then when I went to get weight, pulse, and all else, Leslie Castro was absolutely amazing in doing her job. This is a person whom you can tell doesn't seem like it's work to her. It's just something she loves doing. The smile even behind the mask was even having the sun envious of her shine. Leslie even took my ECG and explained everything before and after. What wonderful and amazing workers Dr. Simon has working for him. I salute you all. Thank you

A place to avoid
- Dr missed appointment, no new appointment offered in a reasonable timeframe no follow up or answer to questions asked via online portal
- Response to a complaint via the online portal promised a follow up call that never happened
- Staff failed to check if supplies for my last appointment were on hand and only informed me after I got to the office
Worst experience with a supposed health care provider in the last decade.
