Is Dr. Gross going to back down and or apologize to families he insulted when he kept pushing for the COVID shot? He was unprofessional and became irritated when he continued to force it and was denied by me a parent. Is he going to follow the CDC guidelines now?

If i could give them zero stars, i would. Postpartum moms - do yourself a favor and take your baby anywhere else.

My three month old was spitting up and screaming incessantly so i called, panicked asking if they could see him. This was the only time I ever reached out for help, calling them in tears. I was told they had an appointment at 11:45 which was 20 minutes from the time of my call. I was also told the office gave a 15 minute grace period, since i was 20 minutes alway. I rushed to get my screaming newborn ready and sped there. I arrived at 11:55 and was turned away despite making it within the grace period.

I was turned away for lunch, not another patient or appointment. Lunch… which lasts an hour for these doctors could wait an extra five minutes for a crying mother and baby.

If it were possible to give zero stars I would. My wife and I had the displeasure of meeting 3 of the incompetent "doctors" that operate in this practice. This practice treats the parents of their patients with a complete lack of respect. There is no parental choice allowed at this practice. If you wish to delay or opt out of anything you will be met with utter distain. Dr. Aaron Bornstein and Dr. Martin Gross attempted to convince my wife and I that our daughter had a very rare genetic disease because of a "Positive" newborn screening. A "Positive" newborn screening is NOT a diagnosis. My wife and I got genetic testing done before we conceived our daughter and it just so happens we tested negative as carriers for this regressive genetic disorder. However, Dr. Aaron Bornstein could not accept this answer and even after I had told him I spoke with a geneticist at Mass General who had our test results. He insisted that our results must be wrong and insisted our genetic testing might not have been done by a reputable source. It was conducted by Myriad which are considered highly reputable within the field of genetic testing; we were referred to them by Brigham and Women's. Let me reiterate, a "Positive" newborn screening is NOT a diagnosis and these dried blood samples often have false positives and Dr. Bornstein should know this. The kicker is that this particular disease is in the "pilot study phase" and hasn't been fully rolled out yet, coincidence? They wanted to needlessly pock and prod my healthy daughter.

Our first visit with our newborn baby was with Dr. Ramune Garniene who was clearly sick. She frequently coughed could hardly talk. We were concerned and upset with the decision to have her handle our vulnerable newborn. She immediately questioned as to why our newborn hadn't received the Hep B vaccination. When asked how our newborn could get it, Dr.Garniene said that "it is typically transmitted from the mother during birth but your wife tested negative." So this answer indicates there is no reason for her to receive this vaccine at this time. She then elaborated and said we cannot decline the Hep B because they only offer combination vaccinations. So even if there is no need for her to get or if we wanted to delay this vaccine they force you into doing so if you cant to vaccinate for other illnesses.

Then she questioned as to why our newborn hadn't received the RSV shot at the hospital. We told her we intended to have the pediatrician administer it at her first appointment (one day later) but when we asked for the RSV Antibody, Dr.Garniene said they would not administer it since she is under 12lb. Apparently they do not offer the RSV Antibody for newborns which would've been great to know before we had left the hospital.

Our third visit was with Dr. Martin Gross. He could best be described as an emotionless robot. As soon as he entered the room be began read off his script of useless information. "When was the last time you checked your smoke/carbon monoxide alarms" he asked. When I had said I just updated the house with new alarms he began to question me as to my ability to install and test them?

When I had asked him about a red mark on my daughter eyelid that has been there since birth he quickly dismissed it and said it is burst blood vessels in my daughters eyes from the vaginal birth. What? I asked about a mark on her EYELID and she was a C-SECTION birth; he didn't even bother to look at it! I needed to ask him again and insisted that he take a look at it. Now his diagnosis was a "birth mark"! Only problem is we know it's a clogged tear ducted but wanted him to take a look at it to see if its of concern since it hadn't cleared yet.

Dr. Gross also asked why our newborn hadn't received the Hep B vaccination. When asked him how our newborn could get it, Dr. Gross said something along the lines of incase our daughter mixes blood with another kid. I don't she has an immediate risk of that happening anytime soon; especially since the the prevalence of Hep B in the US is estimated to be approximately 0.4%.

A couple of months ago, I brought my 8 year old daughter in because she was having a lot of issues with her left eye. The doctor ASSURED me it was allergies and I had "nothing to worry about". She prescribed her some allergy medication and sent us on our way, no follow up, nothing. Thank God I brought my daughter to an eye doctor who immediately knew there was something wrong and had the sense to tell me to bring her to a specialist ASAP. I brought her to Boston that day where they discovered she had a virus in her eye, which turned into an infection, which led to extensive scarring on her cornea that may be permanent. Her vision has been significantly compromised and nevermind the weeks of her in pain and crying. Middleboro pediatric's false diagnosis caused my poor daughter so much suffering and possible irreversible cornea damage. I am definitely getting my daugher a new pediatrician.

They used to be so good about a decade ago. Dr. Gapud, my son's pediatrician, is great, but the people who run the business office side of this place are disorganized and obnoxious.

There's been multiple occurrences of miscommunication and wasted visits because they can't get their act together. It's a shame when a good doctor is surrounded by incompetent morons.

Won’t see my kid and hasn’t since 8-9 month physical and my kid has suffered being sick constantly since and hasn’t been seen since. Mind you she’s over a year old now and hasn’t got her first year physical. I called 15 minutes before they opened until 10 minutes after and they are already “fully booked” they don’t have enough providers for the kids. So my daughter is just supposed to suffer? I’ve tried constantly for weeks for appointments and nothing!

Of I could give zero stars I would. “Dr” Gross is the most useless doctor I’ve ever dealt with he refuses to do what is in the best interest of his patients including refusing to comply with parents and specialists wishes for medication administration. He has lied and neglected his duties time and time again. And be advised even if you are recommended to have your child swap medications per the child’s specialist he will refuse and lie and try to manipulate you into doing as he sees fit. Sorriest excuse for a physician I’ve ever seen. Do no harm right doc?

We recently moved here and tried to schedule as new patients with this practice, but they wouldn't put an appointment on the books until they had patient histories for each of our five children. So we drove to their office that same day and filled out the consent form to request that information from our last office. I wanted to schedule asap so my youngest didn't fall behind on her vaccination schedule. Middleboro Pediatrics said they would call us to schedule as soon as they got the records. Three weeks later I finally called them. They had received them, but some were incomplete (illegible in some cases). They told me to recontact my old office to have them resend (although this is a call they could have made because they already had my signed consent and they actually knew what was missing and and I did not). I called and told my old practice the situation they said they would resend. Another week and I never hear from Middleboro Pediatrics. I call back and they say some of the kids are complete and we can schedule them, but others only have the last couple of years of visits and they need everything FROM BIRTH. We have moved several times and I am not keen to call every office and hospital we have ever visited to get a "complete" medical history for my kids just so I can schedule a well child visit. What really irritates is that this office did nothing to sort this out...zero effort on their part. I scheduled a new patient appointment over the phone with another office and they are able to see me tomorrow (presumably THEN they will request prior records... like everyone else we have ever seen). Uncooperative and unhelpful.
