This was my first visit to an optometrist. It was such a wonderful experience. The front lobby was beautiful done. The staff were all exceptional with great personalities. They turned a dreaded experience into the complete opposite. We are very fortunate to have this type of service in Santa Cruz. Prices were very reasonable and they threw in this cool gift set!

I have been going to Midtown since it was John Van Every's office, and Ayesha Burns was brand new in the office. That being said, this is a fantastic optometrist's office, very professional, friendly, and courteous, with great staff and two great optometrists. The location is also very handy - right on Water, very close to Ocean. I very much recommend this office.

My last visit I left in tears after being accused of abusing my contacts and being refused care. I was excited for my eye exam & to finally purchase some new contacts but that quickly turned to disappointment after being talked down to. I’m so glad I didn’t give them my money. I was an established patient but I believe they stopped accepting new MediCal patients, maybe that’s the reason I was treated so poorly? If I were you I’d support another business.

The service here, as well as the staff, were truly exceptional. I’m out of town, and sadly I lost my glasses in the ocean. I reached out to this business the following day and though unconventional, they went out of their way to source me some contacts, as well as enough contacts for the remainder of my trip. This process was all done within the hour and I received it along with other goodies. I am very pleased and amazed at the service I received here and highly recommend their business.
