I got sent here after calling the crisis hotline. Mentally, I was in a very bad place. I came to seek therapy but no one once brought up finances or if insurance would cover it. I assumed it was all free and truly believed they wanted to help me. Well, they failed to mention that they charge $600-$900 per 57 minute session, and they also failed to mention that my insurance didn't cover it until the bill racked up to be nearly $2000. They refuse services if you don't give them any money so I stopped going. I came here to battle my depression because of finances, only for them to use my mental illness as a cash cow. They obviously want to profit from your mental illness, and could care less about anything else. Don't come here unless you got lots of money to pay for underpaid therapists. This place is a joke and only made things worse for me. So if you're in a crisis, please DO NOT come here.

Called 6/26/24 and the female receptionist was worthless and waste a time. Talked to her for several minutes, explained my situation and asked if they had somebody that specializes in my child custody matters. She said you know you’re calling Grand Junction, which all calls funnel into one location and then they dispatch it accordingly. Most importantly, she said I don’t know what to tell you, I said well is there someone above you that might be able to direct me to the right person, she said oh yeah of course the Program Director. I was surprised she didn’t recommend that prior to me asking. I left a long message for the PD, and here it is more than 24 hours later, haven’t heard anything…ugh.

The people saying this place isn't great are lying. I've been going here for 6 months & the therapist, receptionists, and crisis counselors, psychiatrist are all phenomenal. I haven't ever made as much progress in the 10+ years of therapy with other providers as I have in 6 months with these folks. Very very highly recommend this place.

For an establishment meant to better ones mental health, it sure causes more stress in my life. I've been officially removed as a patient for "not making contact within 60 days." Dispite the same woman answering my calls for the past month, I was NEVER able to get an appointment. "We'll call you right back," and I'm waiting for another response thats never to come.

Save the pain, stress and effort. Find professionals who are willing to help you in that moment. I am no longer allowed as a patient, but I will continue to get the help I need.

I call this place specifically looking for a doctor. Told the woman I'm looking to get a basic check up, fill some prescriptions, etc. Somehow they just fail to put the pieces together and sign me up for an intake meeting for therapy. Only at the meeting do I find out they are not in fact doctors. Literally, all they had to do was just tell me in the first phone call that they only do therapy. It was not made clear at all. Wasted my time over some preventable nonsense.

I was unfortunately assigned to Dr Berkely. He did not help, he only made things worse. He way over prescribed me and left me without even an explanation of why he wasn't my provider as anymore. Never heard from mind springs again. If I could leave 0 stars, I would.

Have always been treated with dignity and courtesy. So glad these services are available in Steamboat. I got connected with a very good psychiatrist and therapist and have been coming to Mind Springs for over a year now. Highly recommend to anyone struggling with their mental health.

No psysician/patient privilege! They claim to be a safe place but will not hesitate to testify against you in court. They broke their confidentiality agreement with me over a civil protection order. Imagine if I was an addict or even an actual criminal. This is the most untrustworthy place in the business. They have screwed me so bad that I will never see another psychologist again! They are the anti mental health providers. I am much worse off for having ever trusting them. They have gone out of their way to harm me!
