Appears disorganized. Arrived early for appointment seen late. No real order to anything seemingly. Poor communication and patients treated like just a number.

Update: waiting waiting and more waiting

My first time going there. I wasn't to bad. Nurse can put a smile on there face. Like they like there job. Nurse were they take you to get blood out. She can be nice to her workers. But overall Jessica the Doctor was good and very nice.

I went to MomDoc yesterday and I had the worst experience. My appointment was at 3:50pm and I arrived at 3:30 to check in and fill out the paperwork. I was not taken back into a room till around 4:05pm. They took my vitals and I was asked to get undressed for my women exam at 4:15. I waited over 45 mins for the doctor to come in. No one came in to check on me at all. I even had to call them and the lady who answered told me she couldn’t get a hold of someone at the front desk. I finally had a staff member come in and tell me that the doctor was reviewing my chart and she would be in the room in 3 mins. I was a new patient. There was nothing in my chart to review besides my vitals if that. I waited an extra 5 mins and no one came in. I decided to leave. I had been there for over an hour and a half. While I was getting dressed the doctor came in and she said, “oh you are leaving?” I told her I was because I had waited over 50mins in that room naked waiting to get seen and she literally just said OK & walked out. No apology or anything. I even told her that it was ridiculous to not even follow up with the patients who are waiting to be seen. I would NEVER recommend MomDoc to anyone unless you have all the time in the world to wait to be seen. I get that doctors run behind. But over an hour is ridiculous. Especially because no one even came in to check up on me. The doctor was rude and she did not care at all. We schedule appointments for a reason. If I was late over an hour to my appointment I can guarantee that they would make me reschedule. So why does MomDoc think it’s acceptable to make their patients wait over an hour to be seen?!

!!! DO NOT COME HERE UNTIL YOU READ THIS !!!
I wouldn’t send my dog here if the vet was closed . They gave me the wrong dosage of medication which caused my hair to fall out and other health issues, made me come back 2 times to get blood work drawn with no one there to draw my blood, and they are unorganized there is no communication within the office and the MA staff are rude . They just get your through the door to tell you whatever and bill your insurance . They have same day appointments because they don’t care about your health like a real doctor would . They are negligent and if you love yourself and your baby you wouldn’t come here I would recommend the Tolleson office with midwife Robyn .

started off well at first. Once they referred me to another specialty this is where things seem to scatter. Could never maintain an appointment with the provider because they were frequently out sick. Poor communication with the preferred specialist. Would schedule virtual appointments and never show up. I'd be on the camera waiting which conflicts with my work.

My reason for picking MOMDOC was because I like the concept of midwives and doctors taking care of you during your pregnancy. However this has been my worst experience with any prenatal care
Their care is not personalized to you. You see multiple doctors. Whoever is available at the time and I have personally had to go to 3 different locations because of special hours at the tolleson location. On several accounts I have had to educate them to make sure certain test are done because you see different providers each time and they don’t seem to read up on you. I was sent to a specialist due to a larger baby however MOMDOC has done the same testing as the specialist office so duplicate testing .
I was scheduled for induction and it has been pushed back and I am waiting on day 3 . No one from the hospital or the doctors office has called to check on me or explain how the process goes. Communication is non existing I called triage twice but that’s a joke because no one calls you back you have to go into the office . Luckily this is my last experience with them . Find a provider that actually cares. But if you want to be shuffled around your entire pregnancy they are the place to go !!

DO NOT GO TO MOMDOC UNLESS YOU HAVE MONTHS TO WASTE ON YOUR HEALTH!!! I only went to momdoc because Dr Sabre came to see me in the emergency room. Suggested I make an appointment to follow up with him. I immediately made an appointment once I was out, Dr Sabre cancelled so I saw someone else. I was told to make more appointments for more ultrasounds because there was still tissue they were seeing. It was with someone different every time, one even had to be rescheduled for a different location. I haven’t seen Dr Sabre ONCE since the emergency room. After 3 ultrasounds, they told me I needed immediate surgery to remove a tumor that had formed. I scheduled it, not without first paying them $1400 they said was required before scheduling the surgery, then they promptly cancelled the surgery. I have not received my money back and they keep telling me 8-10 WEEKS before I see it. I saw an oncologist finally and he was even shocked and confused by momdocs records. Now I’m needing a follow up with the oncologist but can’t get my money back from momdoc to do so. They really do not care about you or your health. I am now reaching out to my attorney to have this handled. After almost dying in the emergency room, I did not need this. Momdoc has no reason to be seeing ANYONE.

Update: my appointment by MomDoc has been rescheduled multiple times through no fault of my own. I have asked for an appointment at 130p, first one from the lady in the office I’m told needs to be rescheduled “due to a schedule change” (less than two hours after setting it up with the lady in the office). I set up a new date and time, then a few days later get a confirmation for my appointment at 150p. I said my appointment should be at 130p, not 150p, and I’m told my check in is 130p and appointment is 150p.

I said I want an appointment at 130p, not 150p, I don’t know how to be more clear about the appointment time being 130p than saying, repeatedly, I want an appointment at 130p. So my “preferred time” for the same day was already taken and now I have to reschedule again.

I’m now rescheduled for another day at 130p, so we’ll see how well that works out.

Mini update to this: the MomDoc text rep confirmed my appointment is at 130p, I received a text “we look forward to seeing you at 140p!”

I don’t know why asking for a 130p appointment time isn’t clear, I don’t know why they keep intentionally lying about my appointment time. It’s frustrating because I have to get a direct referral for this and I don’t understand why this is so difficult.

Original post:

Apparently the online application form doesn’t work right, it’s a “known issue”, so even if you get confirmation of an appointment, it’s still not guaranteed that your appointment exists.

Instead of fixing it, you show up and get told you have to reschedule. When you do and you ask for an appointment confirmation, you just get handed a business card with the date and time hand written on it.

Why doesn’t MomDoc fix their online appointment form if they know it doesn’t work right?
