I don’t often write reviews but I have been treated so well by the staff and Dr’s here. Really I never feel like a number but am treated with respect and caring. They are not only professional but their office is on top of details and appointments. The care I have received by Dr. Reeves has been monumental in me reaching my goals and Dr. Santiago is amazing. I am really making this review count because this is about taking care of people. I highly recommend for a loved one or anyone struggling. When you don’t know who to go to as was my case this office really helped me. Hope this review helps another 👍.

A Duty To Warn:

The employees who work with clients on the day to day basis are some of the best and brightest in the field. However, the Executive Director who has zero experience in anything health related makes abrupt changes that I have seen affected the lives of the clients they serve. As a public health professional, a person living with HIV who would access these services and as a former employee, it is my duty to inform the public that if you would like care from an agency that plans to stick around this one is not where you should put your trust in. I recommend that you receive your services from other agencies that has your best interest at heart. I don’t trust that this agency will be around within the next 2 years. I love you all for real!

I was gonna come to Monarch to do lab work and they tried to charge $60. It’s a non profit and they advertise that their services are free. They said it was not a fee but a donation and if I did not pay it I could not be seen. How are they a Black owned organization charging poor people for blood work. They need to be shut down! This is unacceptable. I plan to make a report to the health department and the IRS about their shady business practices.

The owner has replied to my comment (see below) If you’re calling this a donation then a person should not be denied or billed for the charge if they choose not to pay. You all are a non profit. Nonprofits are not supposed to charge clients. That is in fact against the law. Are you a federally qualified health center? No! Is there a sliding scale fee for those who can’t afford $60? No! You all don’t even accept insurance and you receive funding from 340B and the health department. Yes I have done my thorough research on this organization and your reputation is not good in the community. It’s a shame that you all are doing this to poor Black and Brown communities.

This Medical Center is a miracle for my family and I. All the staff is very friendly, respectful and caring. Spedially Fabianka De Jesus, who is the most profesional, diligent, helpful and kind person that I ever met. She has help us a lot in all the process and Im beyond grateful to her. I would definitely recommend this place for any person that needs it.
