This motel is super cozy and the staff are amazing. My husband and I got to come spend two nights there and the experience was so awesome. It is located perfectly for a quick walk up the store or just to go explore.

It's location is very convenient if you're going to Silverwood. The room is very big and spacious. But the cleanliness is not the best. On our first night, there was still some coffee pods from the previous one who used the room.
And the floor is not that clean. We walked with our socks in the room and it makes our socks black.

But since the price is reasonable, I don't hate it. I just hope that they will do better with regards the cleanliness of the room.

The setup is 7 stand alone cabins that each have two rooms in them, around a central small parking lot. Shannon is very welcoming on the phone and in person. The rooms are quite nice, having been recently renovated, as a project by the new ownership. The beds are large and very comfortable. The bathroom was also updated, floors looked new. The TV selection is limited, but they are working on that. She resolved a problem that was not caused by them or the facility, which I appreciated. Rooms were quite clean. A great thing about the layout, which you can see from the pictures, is that you can pull your car right up to the door and unload or load, then move it to the nearby parking. That was great from me, because I was on a 3 week trip and had 10 pieces of luggage and food to unload. Definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area, and as a native New Englander, it was fun to see the streets named after those states, and have Moose Inn on Maine Street, when moose are quite common in Maine. I was skiing at Schweitzer, so it was an hour, parking lot to parking lot, in good conditions, but the pricing here was worth the extra drive.

The place is quaint and unassuming on the outside, and super nice on the inside! I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area. The staff were also super friendly and had great recommendations for food in the area.

Absolutely loved the location. Perfect for walks and shopping and not to far from the lake!

The room was nice, but I could hear my neighbors the whole time because the walls are SO thin. On the second night my boyfriend got sick in the middle of the night and puked so we cleaned it with towels and the next day when we told the owner she was extremely rude and aggressive about the towels. The owner started blowing up my phone while I was at lunch spamming me and saying that it’s disgusting and that they need a picture of our debit card. We even paid the $100 cleaning fee for the towels and she was still extremely rude and aggressive. We even gave 24 hour notice of wanting to leave early and get our money back for one of the days we planned to stay there because we were so uncomfortable, but she didn’t let us leave early or get our money back for one night because there is a “48 hour notice” of leaving early. I’ve never even heard about that before. Clean room and good location but EXTREMELY unprofessional.

I stayed here for one night and it was clean and cozy. I would recommend thicker walls and a larger space for animals to be and.run around in. I was very satisfied with my stay.

🛑 Do not recommend area. My wife received racial slurs and aggression from two teens in the small downtown strip, and we were refused service at Sedlmayers. The motel looks nice but has blocked doors that adjoin rooms (let in noise), thin walls, and a lack of cleanliness. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, but the drain was clogged with hair. In addition, the toilet was not cleaned (it had prior use marks.) After four hours, I left the area to make the rest of the drive home. I received a $50 dog charge. Avoid this town and motel if you can.
