Hello I am reaching out regarding an incident that took place at urgent care Thursday September 5th I took my boys to urgent care because they were sick and the school sent them home for being sick and told me to take my kids to the doctor. I arrived at Moreno Beach urgent care at 8:30pm. My kids and I were called to the waiting room and we sat in there for about 40 minutes without seeing the doctor. When the nurse practitioner finally came inside the room named Megan Pokoco I’m not sure how to spell her name but she has blonde hair white lady with a pink scrub on the first thing she said when she walked inside the room she yelled at my minor child and stated Why don’t you have a mask on!!! I told her because he doesn’t have a mask 😷 however she proceeded to check his tonsils and said he has a viral affection then she checked my nine year old son and said does he have asthma? I stated no he does not his pediatrician already seen him for asthma testing she refused to listen to me when I explained to her me and my kids are here for a Covid test because we all have the same symptoms . She stated well I need to do an asthma test on him first so I let her bring in the machine to do his breathing treatment mind you I have my one year old sick child my 3 three year old daughter and my four year old daughter hungry and tired on a school night and after ten minutes of her doing the machine treatment on my son I explained to her we don’t feel well we came here for Covid test it is now 10 o clock at night my children need to go home and rest and eat dinner . She was not very happy that we wanted to leave she yelled out loud “This is not a Covid shop you don’t come here to get tested you go to CVS!!!!!” Her exact words when I went to the kiosk it says that clinic does Covid test so she was very rude for stating those exact words to me after the polite gentleman did the Covid test on us she stated don’t come here to get Covid test so I said well we’re leaving because that’s why my minor kids came to be seen because they don’t feel well. She said if you leave you will not get any medicine for you or your children !!!!! With a loud yelling voice . I stated that’s fine I’m going to report you can I have your name she yelled her name very rude and said to leave. The other lady at the desk started being rude to me also because she was being rude like the other lady so I waited by the door to take a few pictures of her she turned the light off so I couldn’t take a picture but I captured a few and waited because they refused to open the door and let me get that ladies name so when she came outside I stood by her car asking what is your name I need to report both of you she attempted to run me over in her car . I would like to contact cooperation regarding this incident because we did not need to be treated in professional they wouldn’t give me a school note for my kids being sick or for myself for work because she said we’re not getting any medicine or anything so she got paid to treat us that way and say we can’t be helped or get anything or any service at 10 o clock at night. I would like if you can have your superviser reach out to me please because this is unacceptable nobodies minor children should be treated this way at all . Thank you for taking your time to read this I need to take action I’m going to be giving my insurance a call to file another complaint on her as well if you can please provide me with Megan the practitioners nurse last name .

Took my mom on a Friday morning around 10:30 and she was out in about 30 minutes. Front desk staff was friendly, check-in was quick and easy, and the care provider was knowledgable and kind, and listened to my mother while also making sure there were no knowledge gaps about her condition and medications she’d be getting (chronic condition flare-up). I had to drop my mom off after I checked her in but this was her experience she told me about.

I've always came to this urgent care and never had an issue. I want to start by saying I've very much educated on what my copay is through my insurance and always pay before I'm seen. Today I come in ready to pay and I'm told I owe from my last visit and I'm taken back but right away show the lady at the front my bank statement where it clearly says I paid for the last visit. Then she has the excuse of how the office staff are now just catching up with the paper work for my last visit and that they didn't collect because they were unable to verify my insurance wich leads me to believe it's all a lie as they will never see you for free they will either charge you as a cash patient or charge you your copay through your insurance. I paid it as I'm coming in and not feeling good but have to deal with going back and forth with her and even paying something I already paid and I will never return. I filed a complaint with BBB and will make sure I speak to management to get my money back. They must be desperate for money.

The absolute worst. I went in last night. I am currently 13 weeks pregnant and with a horrible cough, sore throat, congestion, and tongue is super white.
Dr that saw me said it was a regular cough and he would be sending my prescription to the pharmacy. Went to the pharmacy and come to find out it’s allergy medication. I had to wait for the urgent care to reopen in the morning to get this resolved, but when I called they said that doctor wasn’t there and I would need to do a whole new visit again and pay my copay. Nothing else was done nor offered.

Very good experience I was a walk in easy check in did everything at the kiosk/ online. Doctor gave me a cough medicine didn’t help much. 2 days later she followed up with me and gave me better medicine I am now feeling better after 1 use. Thank u doctor. Definitely coming back & recommending for Covid patients.

Really bad customer service at the front desk both ladies up in the front. They don’t look like they like their jobs. The Dr that helped us was nice but the front desk needs to be trained in the customer service department. I do believe that’s why they have this sign. I do believe their behavior makes people react to their horrible customer service.

This place is horrible!! DO NOT COME HERE. It’s a waste of 100 dollars and they make you WAIT FOR HOURS!!! Every time I’ve came here the wait has been longer than an hour even when I book it ahead of time or am the first one there!! Please save yourself the headache and the money because this place is so horrible it NEEDS to be shut down!! Even when I got in they just told me what I needed to get instead of helping me and THAT ITSELF I ALREADY KNEW or told me to go somewhere where they can ACTUALLY help and still the cost was 100 dollars! Please don’t waste your money here.

BEWARE DO NOT COME HERE ! Manager does not answer calls always gives you the run around that she is not there at the moment as they are trained to say that , even had my insurance call them asking to speak to a manager on two seperate days , said the same thing “ sorry she isnt here right now “ . I emailed the manager several times about wrong codes that were input that i was billed for , she never replied , i went to file a complaint with state of California department of Justice , im sure they received a letter by now and completely keep ignoring me . Was charged 400 dollars for a covid test because whoever billed put incorrect codes idk for what reason i can already assume it was “hey look he has good insurance im sure they wont mind if throw these EXTRA codes that this man doesnt even need“ $$$ to make more money , well he did make more money but lost a patient and now another negative review . This review costing me 300 dollars enjoy the review ! This was a year ago and still no contact no reply nothing . DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY they all work together in this scam industry i blame everyone that gave me the run around here . Hope you guys sleep well at night knowing you guys do this stuff to people that cant even afford it . The front staff the manager the biller all were super rude ! I blame also the doctor “Njie Yunusa” for entering wrong codes, They can care less , this happens everywhere but the fact that they ignored me after several attempts to contact them , is absurd . To your response i contacted my insurance and they tried to contact you to rebill correctly already and quest diagnostics also put my bill on hold for months because what you guys did for a simple covid test is absurd , All i walked in that day for, was a simple covid test and thats all i asked for to be tested , because i needed a note for work , not all these other test that i DID NOT NEED ! If i would of known you guys like to scam people i would of paid the 100 dollar rapid testing you guys offer . All you simply had to do was rebill correctly , and your response is pathetic , like did you not read my review .
