Recently had an endoscopy at Nashoba. Doctor and procedure were fine. However, nurse insisted I get out of bed and walk to patient waiting area. I told her I was dizzy and wanted to wait. With no acknowledgement of my concern, she said just get up and I'll hold you. A barely perceptible hand on my back would have been completely ineffective if I had fallen. She guided me into the waiting area where I stumbled getting to the sofa. No action taken on her part, just "be careful" . Still dizzy, I was left alone in the waiting area for several minutes. Another nurse appeared and asked if I wanted to go to the guest waiting area. I told her I was still dizzy. Again no acknowledgement. Seems to me the Number One item on the Patients Rights "right to receive considerate and compassionate care" was completely ignored. Consider another facility!!

I have been a patient at the pain management clinic for a number of years since there was nothing offered in my city. The doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses and desk staff are amazing! They are kind, cheerful and understanding of my family beyond my problems with arthritis. Now I must find another clinic that will fill my needs. I am not happy about the stateโ€™s attitude towards the way this will affect the community.

I was recently seen at Nashoba hospital for a dislocated shoulder. I must say that this one experience made an impression on me!

I was so elated with how fast things went as i was in a lot of pain. The nursing staff was absolutely incredible. "Ryan Roy" was kind, professional, and provided clear expectations. This guy is great, and you can tell he loves what he does because it shows in his thoughtfulness and attention to detial.

Every person i encountered that night was caring, thoughtful, and professional. I had a great experience at a Nashoba hospital which which is in stark contrast to the experience I had at another hospital 2 days prior.

The whole process took maybe two hours but was thoroughly impressed with Nashoba from top to bottom. I highly recommend due to their timeliness and quality of the care.

I had to go to the lab and than registration before I went under for surgery. The lab ended up finding my paperwork and got me right in. When I went to register there were people waiting in line. There was also people cutting the line and just going right to the window. So I was waiting as the nurse from Surgical day care called me to see were I was. I explained that I had already did my labwork but I am standing in the registration line and some people are very agitated right now. She told me just to come to surgical daycare and they would situate it. Once I got there they started my registration and got me all situated in a room. The nurses were very kind and helped me stay calm, since I was nervous. They were amazing and I appreciate all of there help and care. The doctor explained what I was getting done and he had a good bedside manner. The Anesthesiologist was very nice. I am very thankful they all took good care of me. I appreciate all of there help and time.

I have been waiting here 5 hours for my brother to be seen by a physician due to active bleeding and I and my mother was just kicked out for updating my brother on whatโ€™s going on outside in the waiting room. A baby that was like maybe 7 months was told he had to have hours wait and was forced to leave to find better care somewhere else! I suggest if you have a real emergency you seek treatment elsewhere this place is a joke! And all nurses and doctors are incompetent! I feel for any people who come for medical treatment youโ€™ll probably die before you are seen! I STRONGLY RECOMMEND FINDING SOMEWHERE ELSE TO FINF BETTER TREATMENT

Shame on Steward Health and the Governor Healey-Driscoll administration for allowing this facility to close. The devastation to the community, EMS and local firefighters cannot be understated. A 10 minute drive to the ER at NVMC will now become 35 minutes at best, with a return trip of 45 minutes for EMS. The burden this will place on the community and now other hospitals is overwhelming. I will do everything in my power to avoid and warn friends and family away from Steward going forward.

I just want to express my indignation at the terrible "service" at Nashoba Valley Medical Center, in Ayer MA. My wife arrived there with intense pain (number 10) and they left her waiting for almost three hours in the waiting room, claiming there was no bed to treat her. We decided to go home to try another appointment somewhere else tomorrow. It's simply inhumane.

I went to Nashoba hospital on Wednesday 5/8 where I was diagnosed with a ruptured ovarian cyst. I was sent home and told to control pain with Tylenol and a heat pad. 8 hours later, the pain was intensified, so I took myself to a different hospital for a second opinion. I not only did NOT have a ruptured cyst, but I had a tumor that was in complete torsion around my ovary. Avoid Nashoba at all costs. This could have been a deadly misdiagnosis if I did not listen to the signs my body was giving me.
