My first visit to this location to see a Doctor, started out as a nightmare due to
the front desk customer service staff.

880 W. Central Rd
Arlington Heights
5th Floor.

I called to ask for simple directions, and I spoke with this wretched customer service rep who was completely unhinged, snotty and rude.
When I called her out to advise her of her attitude, she hung up on me.
I immediately called back and spoke with a girl by the name of Brenda, who refused to give me the name of the previous representative.

I requested to speak to the office manager, Shirley, who avoided the issue completely.

This is evident that this is how they run their customer service and treat the patients. By allowing their representatives to be rude to their patients and allowing them to hang-up on patients when they feel a bit triggered. It’s time to grow up.

What has happened to customer service in this country is a shame.

This action speaks
volumes of this office.

There’s an old saying.
“The person who answers the phone is the first voice a customer will hear. And that voice represents the company.”

Well, the girl who hung up on me is a reflection of this organization, along with Shirley, the manager who never returned my phone.

Well done ladies.
It just proves your intellect and lack of professionalism.

This review is for the Busse Breast Center where I have had my annual mammograms and occasional dexa scan for years now. Since they've moved to the third floor, they have really streamlined the annual exam experience. All of their equipment is digital, you get your results same-day through your MyChart login, and the actual visit could not be more efficient. This is not the most conveniently located center for me to get my annual exams, but it's worth a 45-minute drive for me to go somewhere that's this professional and efficient. Thank you Busse team for making this annual chore much less of a chore.

My visit to the Busse Center for a scheduled appointment, ended in a severe asthma attack. Upon entering the ultra sound room on the first floor, I was overwhelmed by the toxic smell of chlorine bleach. This triggered an allergic reaction, and a severe asthma attack.

Chlorine Bleach is toxic to both humans and animals. I am appalled that the hospital administration still allows the use of toxic chlorine bleach in it's healthcare facilities. When there is a healthier alternative. There is also Peroxide Bleach, which is not toxic to humans.

I asked if they had another ultrasound room that we could use. However, the technician explained that they used chlorine bleach in all their rooms.

I had 2 other appointment on the same day. The xray was done with no difficulties, and there was no smell of bleach in the room. (also on the 1st floor) Then proceeded to the second floor for a mammogram. Unfortunately, I was met with the smell of more bleach, but not as strong. I waited for 35 minutes, while it became more and more difficult for me to breath.

I spoke to a nurse about the uses of toxic chlorine bleach, and the effects it can have on patients health. Then asked how much longer it would be before I could have my scheduled mammogram. They said it would be another. hour.

Unfortunately, another hour in the Busse Center, I would have been taken to the emergency room. So I could not wait, and di not get to have my mammogram.

I will not be able to return to this healthcare facility, until the use of toxic chlorine bleach has been discontinued.

Having said that, the staff were politely concerned, and tried to be helpful.

Had a blocked kidney stone. One of these doctors did the surgery. Right as I'm being put to sleep the doctor orders the anesthesiologist to give me an antibiotic I'm extremely allergic to!! I yelled at them and asked why no one looked at my bright red wrist band that tells what I'm allergic to as well as the white band which states what meds I'm on!! Extreme pain and bleeding. No one but no one woukd return my many many calls!! And why didn't the anesthesiologist meet me before surgery like every other anesthesiologist does? Hmm..... then i get another kidney stone a few months later. Actually 4!!!! I was told to take Otc tylenol. Really? No empathy what so ever!

I never actually made past the phone call, one of the first three questions was asking for my ss number I was so uncomfortable and the woman who took my call was so rude and unprofessional, especially after I told her I wasn’t comfortable giving it.
