I’ve been extremely pleased with this small clinic! It is VERY clean, well managed, a section for crying kids so they are not running around, check-in is easy, every doctor has been knowledgeable/caring/personable and interested in my health. Parking is easy and FREE, security around, masks available, and a pleasant facility.
The only thing that keeps it from a 5 is that the phone system sucks. If you are running late, you wait forever on hold and you are. It contacting a location or docs office- it’s a phone service. And the message does not get to the doc office. Plus the amount of texts get a bit annoying. I understand they are reminding a patient of upcoming appointments- but it’s almost daily.

Neighborhood Healthcare has been a good choice for me over several years. In my experience, they work well with insurance by getting needed authorizations and referrals. I've encountered friendly helpful people on all levels. My most recent visit was annual wellness with Dr Hannah Green. She listened carefully and answered all my questions. I was confident in her knowledge and suggestions and was happy to discuss medical info with this attentive doctor. She seemed genuinely kind and caring! I was pleased with the coordination of information and how my various records were available and connected to my chart.

I have most of my medical and mental health needs meet here. I have a nurse practitioner for my doc but she is amazing. I don't like it when docs talk to you like you took 7 years of med school. I love her honesty. If she doesn't know she will tell me that. I'm happy to help her learn as long as she is honest with me. Mental health services here are down right phenomenal. I have you admit I am crazier than most. So I'm not the easiest person to go on meds or talk about what is going on with me. But the doctors and therapists here treat me with such respect and compassion I had to stop and readjust my perception of mental health personnel. You could not ask for a better team of individuals working together for your benefit. I would not be where I am at today without their help. They understand my individual needs and concerns. They treat me as a person not a number, diagnosis, or just doing their job. I feel important and understood where no one up to this point in my life had ever made me feel. So if you are looking for a PCP or mental health team you don't have to look any further. Give the wonderful people here a chance to help you because I know for a fact they will care and do their best at what you think you need. Above all they listen to the consumer they really listen.

I have been coming to this clinic for nearly 10 years, and I can’t say enough about the great care I have received here. Originally seen by Dr Mould, and now by Dr Ramos, I have always found the doctors and staff to be friendly, professional and patient.
Emergency visits are often handled by another doctor by video, and even those have been great experiences that have gotten me needed medications or referrals at short notice. Don’t hesitate to use Neighborhood Healthcare in El Cajon.

Dr. Cristina Moran offers great insight and feedback. She gives me 45 minute sessions instead of the alotted 30 minute session because she values giving me extra time. She pays attention to my needs and has a down to earth way of looking at problems, offering solid solutions with a very kind spirit. Dr Moran is very well informed and qualified because she knows what she's talking about and offers positive feedback and easy to understand knowledge of how to better my life. I am very satisfied with her therapy methods and I suggest if you're looking for results and a change in your thinking and life, to give her therapy sessions a chance!

Jacquelyn Ramos has 0 bedside manner and treated me like a drug addict when trying to refill my medication. I explained to her the amount of pain that I was in and she directed me to the ER when I was already at the doctor's office. What's the point of going a GP if they're always going to direct me to go to the ER. I don't even know if I ever want to go back to this location after being treated the way I was treated today. She did not care about my pain level and I believe she just wanted to go home for the day. I have never felt so unheard when asking for help from a doctor. She acted disinterested when I was telling her about my symptoms.
