This department is awful. I called because my landlord will not take care of a bees nest and fruit fly situation in a Fellowship subsidized apartment. Now we have monster crickets on top of mice!!! The landlord has two days to rectify the situation and it has been over a week with no response from anyone. Fellowship blows and so does the slumlord that owns the place, Henry Arruda. It has now been two weeks since DPH has come to my apartment and nothing has been done to rectify the situation. The fruit flies are so bad my kitchen is useless. You cannot cook at all. It is very costly to eat out and not be able to use your kitchen. I guess she was at a training last week and now what I am sure is a well deserved vacation. All cases are on hold until she is back at work.

I'm not sure why New Bedford isn't concerned with the in Environment.But will go out of their way to give you a find for putting a piece of furniture out to be picked up. I guess that they would rather you throw it out in a parking lot. I guess that is their priority

Google states we can apply for masshealth here but that is incorrect. The person who used to help people with health insurance is no longer located at this building.
