I started going to New Market Clinic during the height of the pandemic. I'd been having chest pains and no where else near by was both taking new patients and did anything to do with hearts. I have had a visit since, but this time needed to cancel my appointment because I could not afford the trip to and the fees for seeing Dr. Kleeman, so I called and asked if it would be possible for my prescriptions to be renewed for the time being. These prescriptions being to control my blood pressure and prevent the return of chest pains and lower my chances of a heart attack or stroke, things that are generally agreed to be bad for one's health in the long and short term.

Dr. Kleeman turned this request down twice, insisting that if I could not afford to come to my appointment I could drive the half hour both ways and apply for a sliding scale charge for clinic visits. Something that would be reasonable if this was not blood pressure medication and if the drive were not part of why I could not afford the appointment. Dr. Kleeman is fully capable of doing a virtual appointment, but refuses to if the patient does not have Covid, showing an over generous degree of unwillingness to work with the patient in situations like this. He is also part of the reason that I cannot afford to return for an appointment, having sent me for blood tests to the Huntsville Hospital Labs, which I am, several months later, still trying to pay off. I do not want to say that Dr. Kleeman does not care for his patients, but he has shown a very "my way or no way" attitude towards this situation and I am going to have to find a new doctor as soon as possible.

The staff are great, always empathetic and kind and very professional. They are the entire reason New Market Clinic gets a second star instead of just the one that Dr. Kleeman has earned the place.

Dr. Kleeman Takes good quality care of his patients. Lashawn ,Krystal , & Dr. Kleeman make awesome combination at NMC/C.N.
Best people that care about the community and the people they care for.

Updated: Lashawn,Krystal are professional as always. Kurt Kleeman was not professional at all talking about Dr.Morris and the past. I am so upset with wasting my time, money and energy to be treated less than. What A Awful, Mean, Rude, Tacky Man this Dr.kleeman is. I really need to re-evaluate coming back after new year. He's upset me, makes me very nervous and uncomfortable. He took oath to care for people, not treat them like he's better. And throwing up Dr. Morris, his situation I knew nothing about has NO RELEVANT TO ME and my personal situation.

If I could give a lower rating, I would. I went in 2 weeks ago, having had breathing difficulties and pain/pressure in my chest for a few weeks. I saw Dr. Kurt Kleeman. Many tests were ordered...bloodwork, CT scan and stress test. Another week passed and no one from this office ever called to discuss test results. There was no updated information on the web-access patient portal that I was told to set up.

I called to speak with anyone about these test results as my condition was not improving. The findings were read to me by the receptionist answering the telephone. He was nice, but had no idea what he was telling me. There were things he could not even pronounce, he had to spell them to me over the phone. He could not answer any of my questions. I asked him to ask Dr. Kleeman to call me to answer them. I waited all day and no one ever called.

I called back the next day. The same young man answered the phone. I told him who I was and why I was calling and asked to speak with Dr. Kleeman. His responce was. "Oh, yeah. I remember you. Dr. Kleeman gave me a message to give to you, yesterday. He said that you need to go to the ER or make an appointment with a Cardiologist, because there was nothing he could do for you."

The earliest appointment I can get with a Cardiologist is over two weeks away. I have no idea what is going on. I have many questions about the my test results and their meaning, but the doctor will not talk to me. This is a huge source of stress to me and my family as this is not a simple cold or illness. This is obviously a heart condition of some sort and the medical professional that I entrusted will not even call me to answer my questions.

I have never been treated with so little respect or compassion. I will never set foot inside this office again and I cannot recommend that anyone else do for any reason. What kind of doctor or medical professional does not even speak to their patient and test results? I understand that specific health issues, especially heart related may be beyond a family physician's scope of expertise, but to not even take the time to explain test findings so the patient knows what is going on and what to do next is absurd.

I have never been so upset and angry over any situation in my life.

I love Dr. Morris, he has been the only doctor that has ever actually cared about what's going on. I will stand behind him all the way. His staff is also the best! I love the receptionist she is awesome!!

I went to Dr kleeland for several issues. Was told he was good. After prescribing me new meds that didn’t make sense, he didn’t even send them in. It’s been 3 weeks with no resolve. Would be hard to go back this doctor

This was absolutely the most unprofessionally staffed clinic and I have been i the medical field for 20 years. Laziness is not what a physician needs running his place of business.No one called us back as promised we had a medical situation and desperately needed just some vitals done and the lady was obviously so busy with no one in the parking lot do.even.let us inside the door. Do not go here go anywhere wlse byt here
