If you care about your mental health, please go elsewhere. Charges ridiculous fees and not understanding at all about situations. Therapists move appointments around last minute leaving you to rework your schedule. Subpar counselors that have too many clients to care. Attempts to reach out about billing took almost a week to get an answer. Avoid at all costs

Was initially excited to start therapy here as there was a plethora of therapists and they quickly responded. Set up a consultation for a day I was available. The morning of, the person I set up the consultation with texted me and said someone else would be meeting me. Shortly after that, the new person texted me and said she couldn’t meet me due to a schedule mix up. I reached out to the original therapist and she said she’ll still meet with me. When I arrived, both the original and new person were there. I was introduced to the new person and told she’d be my therapist ongoing but the original lady would still do my consultation. When discussing availability, it was quickly realized that our schedules do not line up but they would figure it out and contact me with a good day and time. During my consultation, the therapist kept focusing on me playing with my hands, which was EXTREMELY frustrating for me as I am choosing therapy for something completely different. She then introduced the tapping method and that’s when my heart sank. Huge red flag. Just saying, why would tapping my forehead or the side of my palms be any less noticeable or even remotely helpful? If anything, more people would notice me doing that? Also made me do breathing exercises for roughly ten minutes when I never once mentioned it was something I wanted to try or needed to do. Its not like I have crippling anxiety and panic attacks. I was pretty straight forward with what I wanted out of therapy when filling out paperwork prior to my appointment. It felt like no one cared or even read my paperwork and why I wanted to be there. Few days later they left me a voicemail asking for me to see a whole new person in the enfield location. If I wanted to go to enfield I would have originally started my consult in enfield. I denied this offer. Now the original therapist reached out offering to meet me on the original agreed upon day. I’m over it. On top of all this, they asked for my insurance information and didn’t even bill my insurance. I have to make the claim myself. Thanks for nothing. Waste of $200.

I’m 57 and have never utilized the service of a psychotherapist. This is my first experience. My initial encounter with them (I believe the owner) was very mellow and non-offensive. She was very sweet and professional. I expressed the importance of matching me with someone in her practice closer to my age for purposes of being able to relate to each other. I thought it was important. She did a great job with connecting me with the best Therapist (in my opinion) on the face of this Earth. Shout out to Stacy!! I’ve been with them a little over a year now and I feel a lot of my issues have been addressed accordingly and effectively.

I love the consistency with therapy. A special shout out to my therapist, Lesley Salisbury! She made me improve a lot in my anxiety and is a safe space for me to express my emotions. Her time is very flexible, and I appreciate all the New Path Counseling LLC services they provide for me. Highly recommend to fellow college students who seek counseling services!

Lesley Salisbury is amazing and honest. She is that 'friend' who will tell you the truth even if you don't want to hear it because you need to. Her honesty and candidness have allowed me to dig deep within myself and learn myself on a whole different level. Lesley really cares and I already feel the improvements from her guidance and weekly chats. I feel a lot less 'crazy' and a lot more self-aware thanks to her! I look forward to our sessions every week. I cannot recommend her enough!

I was recommended this place for counseling. I set up an appointment. After 3 days of waiting to hear if my appointment was accepted, I get an email stating my appointment was denied. And someone would reach out to me to set something else up. I received no follow up. For a place that cares about mental health and helping people, YOU SUCK AT IT! I will be seeking elsewhere that wants to help me.

This counseling group is a scam. I’ve never been so appalled with mental healthcare service. I went thru 2 different therapists including the owner. For a 15min intake call the owner Bao no showed then called after our scheduled time and only wanted to discuss what disorder she should charge me under. She charged me $168 for that consultation call. I requested it be removed or explained and they decided to just charge me instead without responding to me calls…

They also handle their patients very unprofessionally, texting late and all throughout the week to move appts or handle business. After the first therapist wasn’t a match the owner decided to take me. My appt was for a Friday afternoon, at 4:30p, on Wednesday she texted me to move to meet within the hour which I couldn’t make. Then Thursday night she texted me late to ask to move my appt to 8a Friday which I couldn’t make. No confirmation of our appt was still on Friday afternoon until she texted me at the hour. The jerking around and inconsistency honestly made all of my anxiety worse. After sharing my availabilities with her I never heard from her again accept a note on their portal to pay them….I know of two others who work with this group who see inconsistent and repeated charges that are unexplained on their account.

For your own mental health….stay away from this place! I wasted 3months and $560

I am very lucky to have found someone like Lesley on the first attempt. She has empathy, is very intelligent and really understands how to help. I cannot thank her enough.
