Before & after pictures below.

I struggled with weight due to some severe health issues that doctors couldn’t help me with. I went to Integrate Medicine in Northampton, MA, and they helped me! It was a journey, however it paid off! My health is better now and I lost 40 lbs in the process!
I am so very grateful to Lauren Rosa at Integrative Medicine!

I was dealing with long covid symptoms, including severe fatigue, brain fog, nerve pain, and numbness. I saw Dr. Pegels who listened carefully to my experiences and ordered a slew of lab tests. The results showed that I had 3 reactivated viruses at the same time. She prescribed anti-viral and supportive supplements along with dietary recommendations. After a couple of months I was feeling a lot better, and now a year later I have no more symptoms. I am extremely grateful that she ordered tests that typical MDs would not think of.

To reiterate other negative reviews here, I have had horrible experiences at the practice and more specifically with the lack of compassion, helpfulness, and general engagement of Dr. Kearney. My most recent experience violated informed consent laws and most basically doctor-patient trust relationship. We had explicitly agreed on a treatment protocol I need in order to regain any semblance of quality of life. Dr Kearney informed me that it wasn’t the typical delivery method for the treatment sh it would take them about two weeks to research how to process it and I would get an update on the process within that time period. Instead, without consulting me or informing me, she changed he treatment to something that is not adequate in addressing my condition or needs, and is simply a continuation of current treatment which has proven ineffective at addressing the root issue I face. I only found out that it had been abandoned after reaching out to inquire on the status 4 weeks following my appointment. The first nurse who returned my call told me it was out of concern of tolerance of the treatment (again, informed consent dictates that treatment options and side effect profiles are articulated to the patient and decision is made together, not for the provider to decide unilaterally and contradict the decision of the patient) and the second nurse indicated that it was too many changes and it would present insurance issues (because again, they decided without informing me to access insurance authorization for a different treatment, likely causing barriers in gaining approval for the agreed upon treatment). Not only is it clearly laziness and negligence, there is absolute lack of any desire to try to figure out how to help in any meaningful way, only to collect patient revenue for the 15 minute appointments that are largely spent sitting in silence and waiting for any response or acknowledgement from the doctor. Not only has she directly told me she doesn’t know how to help, when pushed and asked who I should see instead, she physically guided me out her office door mid conversation without clarifying or providing any level of visit summary telling me she didn’t know what to tell me while still indicating that I should return in 6 weeks. Her general demeanor is detached and uninterested, barely making eye contact, or really engaging and/or responding to questions or concerns being raised in appointments and is more interested in typing or looking at her computer. I sought integrative care so my health would be looked at holistically, instead I am brushed off and quickly disregarded. I am disappointed and disgusted by my experiences, and just want to reiterate and validate the negative experiences that ported by other reviewers specifically in regards to Dr. Kearney. I am also sharing my experience to ensure that there is accountability on behalf of the practice for creating an environment in which patients are misled, traumatized, gaslighted or brushed off when facing real, serious and life threatening conditions.

I was very happy to find NIM to resume treatment of chronic Lyme symptoms. I have been very happy with the care I’ve received. I’m surprised at the negative reviews here as it has not been my experience at all. I find the office to be busy but well run. The staff is courteous and I have never had a long wait. I believe the treatment recommendations are spot on, and the treatment is working. Can’t ask for more than that!

Without this Medical practice I’d be dead, I’ve been battle Lyme disease and other tick born illnesses for 22 years. My GP didn’t believe in Chronic lyme and never tested me for the other infections form ticks. When I first went here and they Immediately noticed that I had Bell’s palsy from the lyme ran tests and started treatment for the plethora of undiagnosed infections. Thank you to Lauren Rosa and Dr. lynch and the whole team you are much appreciated. It’s been a long road but steady progress is key 😊

Do not go to this practice. My partner went for a first visit with Dr. Kearney and it was by far the worst doctors experience I’ve ever seen in my life. I tagged along since my partner can get some medical anxiety and first of all this office is literally that- an office. Not a sterile, clean medical facility. No sinks, sanitization, biohazard waste containers or anything of the sort in the exam rooms. I feel like I can’t even call it an exam room because it was just a small office with a desk, carpeted floors, and almost no medical equipment. It’s honestly shocking that this facility can be considered a medical office at all. Moreover, Dr. Kearney was the most dismissive, uncaring, unfriendly, and honestly triggering doctor I’ve ever interacted with in my life. My partner expressed symptoms and concerns she had been experiencing and Kearney literally responded with maybe you should try intermittent fasting and HIIT workouts. Like a meme. The standard terrible doctor experience when they don’t listen to anything you’re saying and just tell you to eat less and move more. It was insulting, unprofessional, and disrespectful. Then without explaining anything sent her off to the billing lady (who was very nice) who informed us that nothing would be covered by insurance and she‘d need to get a blood panel (among many other tests that weren’t explained) done. Luckily my partner decided to decline doing the blood test done there as again- this place does not evoke any sense of cleanliness or sterility. Overall this was a hugely disappointing, triggering, and waste of time appointment that cost $60. And when we were checking out they tried to sell us supplements. This is not a doctors office. This is a money making office with no intention of actually helping people. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

I have pondered how to write this review without being disrespectful, but here's what I experienced.
I was eager to get a second opinion about a medical issue and was referred to this practice by two alternative practitioners.
After several emails and calls, I literally begged for someone to call me back, even if to say they didn't want to treat me [they had done that a year earlier when I said that one of my symptoms was fatigue]. That worked, and I finally got an appointment with Dr Kearney. I read her profile and was looking forward to benefiting from her expertise.
I arrived at the office, which is attractive but highly impersonal--almost like something from a dystopian movie where the characters don't know how bad it is until they're already in.
After a short wait, the receptionist called my name I went to the window. A very thin woman was standing in the hallway about 10 feet away looking expectant, but she didn't say hello or introduce herself, she just turned and started walking away from me, like a jailer leading a patient to the gallows.
I asked her if she was Dr Kearney, which she affirmed without a smile, so I followed her into her office. She didn't say anything till we'd sat there for a few minutes while she fiddled on the computer.
She then asked me the usual questions, but barely looked at me, just typed into the computer or looked out the window during most of the visit.
When we finished talking she indicated the room where I should wait for a blood test. She said nothing about following up and walked away without saying goodbye.
I did the prescribed tests and waited for a phone call from Dr Kearney to discuss the results or to make a follow-up consult. Instead I got a letter about 10 days later telling me what my results were and recommending some supplements. Nothing about the condition I went there to discuss. They recommended taking supplements that I've never heard of and were not even mentioned as a possibility during my visit with Dr Kearney.
I had assumed that the term 'integrative medicine' implied a high degree of personal interest and caring treatment, but that was my mistake. At least the phlebotomist, Bonnie, was extremely kind and warm, but the experience with Integrative Medicine gave me the creeps.
I would advise anyone wanting a positive and caring medical experience to avoid this place. There are other integrative medicine practices in New Hampshire.

It has been over a year since I had my virtual appointment with Dr. Kearney and I've had some time to reflect on how unpleasant my experience was. Dr. Kearney was unfriendly and very dismissive. I've worked with quite a few doctors and have never wanted to end an appointment early so badly. When I explained my issues to Kearney, I simply remember her responding with attitude, "So what do you expect me to do for you then?" She has little to no bedside manner and I've never felt so belittled in an appointment. I do remember ending the call and being very upset with how it went, I had high hopes for this place since my primary referred me and the office staff was very nice. I paid my copay and never followed up with anything further since I wasn't interested in working with Kearney. We clearly did not jive as doctor and patient. All I can say to future new patients - proceed with caution with Northampton Integrative Medicine. Look elsewhere if you are seeking compassion and understanding from your doctor.
