K. Arnold is an excellent therapist. She listens tentatively and provides input that makes me think of how I want to deal with different problems I am confronting. Sometimes, I find answers in just listening to myself talk. She is gem and I look forward to my sessions with her.

I continue to have extreme difficulty with reaching the front desk and/or management. It’s been months of voicemails with no response nor any resolution. This is sad as my children really enjoy the care they received from their providers.

Don’t return calls, or check messages!!!!
Poorly run office.

Thanks for your response, but telling me to call you to speak further, when you don’t return calls, is pretty ironic.

Setting up my appointment with Northeast Health Services was easily done and quickly made. After my first few minutes with my new counselor, I knew this was going to be something that will be very helpful. In the first session, I was already introduced to techniques and strategies that were going to be very helpful for me. Thank you.

So far my experience here has been rocky.

I’ll start with the good:
- The person who called to do my intake was lovely. Cheerful, reassuring and professional. I had high hopes after the first phone call.
- The speed with which they contacted me was much better than other clinics. (Is this bc they aren’t very busy? Or new? What’s wrong with their services that they aren’t booked solid like the first three clinics I called?)

Now the bad:
- I’ve had two video calls through their portal so far. I had a strong internet connection. (Did a speed test right before each call.) The providers claimed to have a strong connection too. Quality was so poor that it was impossible to carry out the session with computer audio. I couldn’t understand entire sentences that were being said. During the second session, ee had to use audio from a phone call while on computer video. If this is the way it’s going to be consistently, I will find another clinic. Therapy should not add unnecessary frustration to your life. It should be a tool to make it better. My last office used zoom and that worked fine. It seems the problem might be within their app interface.
- The intake paperwork is endless. And a LOT of it is a repeat of answers that were discussed during the initial intake phone call. The person I spoke to was clearly recording my answers, so why make a prospective patient answer them again? It’s redundant and a waste of time. I’ve had four different therapists in my lifetime and I’ve never seen a stack of forms like this. I’m sure they have their reasons, but some of the authorizations I had to sign off on didn’t seem to have anything to do with therapy or mental health or were things that could have not only more easily been discussed during a session, but would have been more conducive to establishing the patient/therapist relationship. This would be a real barrier for someone in worse shape than me. Heck, I almost gave up. It took me over 2 hours to complete bc after I spent an hour filling it out the first time and got a confirmation screen that said it was finished and the system was logging me out, the next morning I got an email saying I had forms to complete and when I logged in, only half of the info I had input the day before had been saved. I had to do it again.
- The phone reminder system is glitchy. I received MULTIPLE phone calls the day before my appointments. One would be more than sufficient. I don’t pick up unfamiliar numbers so all the calls resulted in voicemails, but the voice mail system starts speaking before my voicemail even starts recording so there’s no useful or pertinent information about the appointment left in the message
not even the name of who is calling. I have since asked to be removed from phone calls and texted instead. But again, what an unnecessary barrier to treatment if someone doesn’t have an alternate way of being reached and their phone is the only option.
- They really don’t seem to have their ducks in a row when it comes to administrative side of things, and that’s where first impressions are formed. Mine are not good.

We’ll see how the rest of this goes but so far I don’t feel very good about this working out. I was hopeful that when I got through the obstacles to beginning therapy, a great therapist would be waiting on the other side but I’m not optimistic about the one I’ve been paired with.

1 star because 0 is not an option. My therapist moved to this practice and I followed him over, but I would have never otherwise made it to a session. There are no online options for an intake or appointment setting, so you have to call in. Would be nice except nobody answers the phone. Ever. I have called 30+ times over the last month during business hours and nobody has ever answered the phone. They will return your voicemail, when it's convenient for them. I would get a single call during off hours, which I frequently missed, and would be directed to the main line. Again, for no human being to answer the phone. After months of back and forth to get my intake done, and then they needed me to put a credit card down for copay before I could book a session, which my intake person forgot about I guess? Either way, several delays and I finally got a session booked. I chose the virtual option. I never got a link, so I called a few days before my session for the link. I heard from nobody. Luckily, I already had my therapists cell phone so I asked him, otherwise I would have never gotten a link. I did get 3 robo calls to confirm my appointment and it told me where I could find the link. It was a spinoff on doxy and sounded like it was saying knees, so good luck deciphering that. I did get into my session and then 2 days later I got a call back on a Saturday saying oh well looks like you made it, if you need anything else just call us back M-F. I have an appointment for 4pm today that I called to cancel last week and still have not heard back. My appointment is still on the books, so I will be attending it as my last and cancelling directly through my provider because this organization is a joke. I only wish that when my therapist left his old practice that I would have made the transition then, because I have wasted 2 months of my life on a garbage organization that doesn't even have the common courtesy to talk to the clients they insist must call in

Dr. Enel Joseph helped save me by listening and caring and putting me on the medication that I told him worked for me. He's a very nice person and I couldn't be happier to have him as a psychiatrist. Thank you so much Northeast health services 😀

No receptionist, doesn't call back the day they said they would, double books people on your time. Highly unprofessional, waste of my time.
