Just Bad :

1) I booked an appointment with Brian, in Arlington, because they were close to my home in Arlington. The day before the appointment, they told me the appointment would be north Woburn instead, which is about a 22 minute drive for me.

2) When I was driving to the appointment and was about 2 minutes away from the Woburn practice, I got a call, apparently from their answering service, saying that Brian had called in sick that day, and cancelled the appointment.

3) After two days, they had made no effort to contact me to reschedule (or apologize) after the cancelled appointment.

You might have a better experience than I did. But then again, they don't have their act together, so you might not. There are better providers out there.

I can’t rave enough about Dr. yang. Since the start she has been completely committed to whatever is best for me. I trust her choices and she’s always so easy to talk to. Anyone would be lucky to have her as their provider. Highly recommend. It’s hard to find a psych professional who sees beyond your diagnosis. Sokhira does just that.

NOTE: I'm not writing to review to dissuade anyone in need from contacting this provider, but I do want to share my feedback so the providers working here may take note.

I made an appointment a few weeks ago for medication management regarding anxiety and depression via Psychology Today and had specifically messaged one of the providers based on their specific focuses and background; when I received a follow-up I was offered an appointment with a psych PA instead. This was fine in and of itself and I was grateful that they could fit me in the same day. However, this PA spent most of our session going through a series of (standard, I know) intake surveys with me while rarely making eye contact, to such a degree that I had to shift myself out of my chair just to catch their eye. Their final advice was not to adjust my current medication, which had only prescribed by my PCP with no plan for adjustment, but to supplement it with a second prescription - not my preference considering the range of options I know are available and the relative manageability of my condition.

Also, there was insufficient noise dampening and I could hear the din of the session next door occurring, which was both distracting and raised a red flag that someone could possibly hear me talking in the future.

To Northeast Wellness - thank you for providing much needed services to those seeking mental health support and use my feedback to improve current and future patients' experiences.

Absolute WORST practice I’ve ever been associated with. Kristin and Brian are beyond the most unprofessional, inconsiderate people I have ever encountered. This place deserves zero stars. They laugh at patients, yell at patients, and have zero empathy. I’m not sure how a MENTAL HEALTH provider can be so cruel.

I found my provider through psychology today. The scheduling and intake process was smooth and I was able to connect with a provider who talked me through my medication and its side effects.
