This review is only based off trying to get seen, and not by the actually therapy itself. I would love to be able to leave a review on that, but we can’t even get seen past a consultation. We were referred by my daughter’s pediatrician and it took 2 1/2 months before we could even get the referral approved because they kept telling Medi-Cal that the referral needed to become straight from the doctor to Medi-Cal for a consultation. Medi-Cal informed them that that is not how they do it and that it needs to be sent to Medi-Cal from the clinic again the clinic was saying otherwise. So I had to reach out to Medi-Cal escalation department so that they could get this taken care of and as soon as they called, of course they went ahead and did the referral. Another month goes by and I finally get a consultation. The therapist was very honest with me and said that she probably wouldn’t get the referral in until after the holidays cause this is the end of December. A month goes by and I still have not heard from them so I follow up with them and they informed me that there is currently a waitlist for all insurance patients!! Why was I not informed of this from the first place? Why is it so difficult to get into this place? They did give me a referral for another place that will come to my house, but they have not called me back either so it’s just been a crap show trying to get my daughter in for a physical therapy and I’m completely over it and I feel like because we have Medi-Cal we have been pushed aside.

Fabulous place to bring your child for up to date therapy through play!! The therapist are loving, gentle and at all times professional. Appointments are quick to meet the needs of the clients. The office staff work with the parents to meet financial needs and to ease the stress of the parents. Not many places you would see the Executive Director sitting on the floor playing with the children, but you will see that at CTC. I have witnessed children carried through the doors and after getting Therapy at CTC, I have seen those same children WALK back out those doors! I have seen mothers cry because after sessions of Speech Therapy they heard their child the first time say “I love you mama”. That’s priceless and that’s what CTC helps happen all the time!!
